This is his first run for the Hideki Kakugawa stable. Can make an immediate impact for the new mentor. LUCKY HOPE (8) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 1200m at this track on November 3. Has a strong first-up record with one wins from two runs so he is a leading contender. SAKURA SOLE (1) last appeared six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1600m at Kasamatsu when he finished fifth. This is his first run for the Fuyuki Igarashi stable. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. JASPER MAJOR (10) is back from a spell after closing last campaign with a couple of wins, the latest over 1200m at this track on November 8. Has a very good record here with eight wins from 14 starts. Among the top-three hopes.
