Honest colt who goes well fresh and has upside. CHERNOBOG (1) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at Hanshin over 1800m when beaten 0.8 lengths. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Among the leading chances. FLEURAISON (7) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Niigata over 2000m last time, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Fitter and has two wins when second-up. Sharp improver. DIVINE STAR (2) improved sharply last time out to score by one length over 2000m at Niigata eight weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
