Southampton Nicco and Kvas look to take it up. REVANTAS (3) is a five-start maiden who finished sixth, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1100m at Toowoomba. Fitter for that outing and is a great chance to break his maiden status. BALERION DRIVE (7) has not raced since her debut on July 28 over 1000m at Toowoomba when she finished sixth, beaten 10 lengths. Was well in the market on that occasion and will have a lot more to offer this time. DAFFERS (9) returns from a spell of six-and-a-half months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished ninth at Wellington over 1000m when first-up last time in work. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Beaudesert trial and any push in betting must be noted. LOQUITO (10) didn't make an impression first-up but is a likely improver. SUGGESTED PLAY: Revantas to shed the maiden tag.
