Race 1 1400m
TAKAICHI ASCOT (8) brings the clearest winning platform after breaking through at Funabashi over 1200m, beating Immaculate by two lengths after getting clear and holding the race safely. The rise to 1400m is the obvious new test, but the fresh win gives her form more substance than most of these. SOPRANO TOUCH (6) is still a maiden after 16 starts, yet her third here two runs back behind Hiro Shige Crystal reads well enough for a race of this depth, and she has placed at both the track and trip. TRINITARIANISM (3) has to rebound from a plain Kawasaki ninth, but his previous second at Urawa and a one win, five places from ten starts track-and-distance record keep him right in the argument. ICE FIELD (10) is harder to trust for win purposes, being a 23-start maiden, though his fifth here two back after finishing off from a hopeless spot gives him a realistic minor-money profile if he sharpens from the latest run. |

Race 2 1400m
MORNING CHIKARA (3) sets the standard in a modest 2yo COND, having improved sharply from a well-beaten debut to finish fourth behind Cosmo Tiamo at Urawa, beaten four lengths, and he also holds recent form over Asa Flowsion and Kashino Grand Dio. ASA FLOWSION (4) was respected near the top of an open market in the same race and, while beaten nine lengths, her overall profile still reads as one of the better chances if she can find a cleaner finish third-up. KASHINO GRAND DIO (6) has a mixed reference, with a ten-length sixth latest offset by a debut effort where she charged home from a big price, so she remains a live danger rather than a certainty. COPANO BLONDE (5) has been well beaten in both starts, but this race lacks depth and she can improve enough third-up to press for a minor upset if the main hopes fail to go on with it. |

Race 3 1400m
FLEUR BATTLE (2) goes on top in a race where the exposed form is still developing. Her debut fourth over 800m at Urawa had merit: she was near the top of betting, led to the turn and was beaten four and a half lengths by Irodorino Kokoro. The move to 1400m is the key question, but she should have gained from the outing. STRADDLE (3) has the cleanest placing profile, having run second here on debut behind Orchid Tiara, and the Sasagawa-Kokubo combination adds further strength, although she also has to stretch from 800m to 1400m off a four-month break. TAIYO BOND (7) beat Fleur Battle home in the same Urawa debut and was solid at generous odds, so improvement second-up keeps her right in play. YUYU KOKUTOBA (1) is harder to trust after finishing last and beaten over 14 lengths, but the earlier fourth here and weight relief give him a minor-money case if he rebounds. |

Race 4 1500m
OKASHI DAISUKI MAN (11) clearly sets the standard after winning both starts at Urawa, first by seven lengths over 1300m and then by five lengths when heavily fancied. He has done exactly what the market expected so far and still has the cleanest winning profile. LITTLE ACE (3) is harder to line up because her last-start defeat was plain, beaten over 15 lengths after finding no challenge, but she has the class-drop profile, the light weight and prior Urawa winning form to rebound sharply. SABLE LOVE (2) brings a recent Urawa win over 800m and was still near the top of the market when fourth last time, although the rise to 1500m remains the key test. MERCI COURIR (1) is the each-way anchor among the main hopes, with a Urawa win on the board and enough recent form to press for minor money if he improves third-up. |

Race 5 800m
POISON CAESAR (7) is the clear benchmark after opening this campaign with two Urawa wins, the latest by four lengths as a prohibitive odds-on favourite after beating Britten. He has now won three from five overall and the exposed recent form is the strongest in the race. MAHNE FLOTTANT (10) is the main danger on consistency, having been beaten a neck two back and two lengths last start, with a strong record over this Urawa 800m. KOTORINO UTAU UTA (11) has winning form from Kawasaki and was third behind Poison Caesar here, so she is honest but needs to turn that margin around. WINE WINE RED (8) resumes from a long break, which is the obvious reservation, yet he signed off with consecutive Kawasaki wins and has enough back-form to be a genuine place threat if returning in similar order. |

Race 6 800m
OREIA (6) is the top selection despite plain recent figures, because those runs came in 3yo+ ALLOW grade at Niigata and she now returns to a more suitable C1C2 assignment at Urawa. She was only beaten four and a half lengths behind Party Girl last start and her two wins from four starts at this track and distance are a strong pointer. LUMINEUX FILLE (8) resumes from a four-month break with the best overall profile: 11 wins from 27 starts and a dominant seven-from-17 record over this Urawa 800m, though she did fail as favourite when fifth behind Iron Pitch before the spell. KICKS (1) is another first-up runner with genuine track-and-trip credentials and reunites with a winning rider, but her last two runs behind Siena Wave were only fair. ERI CROWN (12) is the race-fit danger after placings at her past two, most recently second to Queen's Happy, and she looks the safest of the place-oriented hopes. |

Race 7 1400m
EGAL (3) is the horse with the clearest winning profile after putting two Urawa wins together, first scoring by five lengths then backing it up with a two-length success over Terrentius. That gives her the strongest recent form, although the distance query in the profile keeps the race from being completely closed. UKIYONO MESSIAH (8) comes next after finding plenty to win by a nose here at generous odds, and her broader place record gives her substance if she repeats that level. TAKAICHI SHOHEI (2) has yet to miss a place in four starts and was beaten just under a length by Golden Comanche after starting short odds-on favourite, so he remains a serious danger despite that defeat. BEAR TOOTH (10) resumes with a reliable place pattern rather than a winning one, having placed five times from eleven starts without winning, and must stretch from recent 1200m form to be the upset hope. |

Race 8 2000m
WIN OASIS (11) has the clearest recent winning case after closing strongly for second at Urawa over 1500m, beaten a length and a half by Jazz Pianist, and that was a marked lift on his previous seventh here. The rise to 2000m is the obvious question, but he comes through the strongest current form. JUST THE VALSE (6) was second behind Tamamo Kompeito at Urawa and has the best supporting profile at this course and distance, with one win and four placings from 14 attempts. LE GRAND BLEU (12) is a proven Urawa 2000m mare with two wins at the track and trip and a solid jockey-horse record, though she must turn around the recent head-to-head with Just The Valse. RUBBLE PILE (8) resumes after six months and brings a pair of respectable Urawa runs from the autumn, including a third behind Meisho Fuso, so he is a genuine danger if forward enough first-up. |

Race 9 1500m
L'OISEAUBLEU CHINU (10) sets the standard off a decisive Urawa win, scoring by two and a half lengths from Io Ray after already placing here the run prior. The wide barrier is the one obvious complication, but the current form is the cleanest in the race. RHEIN ARTEMIS (6) has been plain at her past two, including a seventh beaten over 10 lengths by Ravi's Dream, yet her Urawa and distance records give her a genuine rebound case. DIR BRAND (1) comes through a better last-start third to Rikkio, beaten a length and a half, and barrier one with proven track-and-trip form keeps him right in the argument. PEPTIDE SHINANO (2) resumes after four months and drops back from 2000m, where he was safely held despite market respect, so he is capable of sharp improvement but must show more dash at 1500m. |

Race 10 1400m
TOUGH CALL (11) sets the benchmark in this B3C1 over 1400m, returning from three months after winning a 3yo COND at Urawa as odds-on favourite and holding his form well across the season. The fresh run is the obvious point to judge, but his recent profile is the cleanest in the race. DOLCIARIA (8) brings the strongest current winning form, having scored by a head at Morioka Dirt and carrying just 52kg, though she now meets a better line-up. PEACH PEACH (10) has been consistent at Urawa, including a last-start fourth beaten just over three lengths, and her track-distance record keeps her firmly in the contest. KEN BLENHEIM (9) needs to improve off his first-up ninth, but his overall record of three wins and three places from ten starts gives him genuine scope to rebound into the finish. |

Race 11 1500m
EGON URREA (3) sets the standard after controlling her latest race at Kawasaki and beating Nori Nori Socks by three lengths, with a solid Urawa third behind Danon Rainier the run prior adding depth to the profile. SUPERMAN (12) is the wildcard resuming from three months off; his recent figures are plain, but the class drop, top-rated last-12-months tag and strong stable-rider profile keep him high in calculations despite the 1500m query. HARMONY ROI (2) is entitled to rebound after a plain Funabashi seventh, having fought hard when second to Muscle at Urawa two back and holding useful track-and-distance place credentials. DAIBA YATAGARASU (9) has yet to win in 27 starts, so the winning case is limited, but his placing record and better effort two back make him a credible minor-money threat if he lifts on the latest run. |

Race 12 2000m
SUNS (12) sets the standard after proving too strong over this course and distance last start, beating Spin Diegoal by a neck after being prominent in betting. His Urawa profile is the major separator: six wins and three places from ten starts here, backed by a strong recent record across the past 12 months. WHITE BEACH (9) is the obvious danger if he improves second-up, having been respected in an open market when sixth behind Suns here, though he must turn around that margin and also has Seinosuke to reverse. SEINOSUKE (8) is better suited back from 2200m and brings a reliable Urawa 2000m record, including two wins and two places from six attempts, while Mai Fukuhara has an excellent association with him. SPENCER BAROWS (4) resumes off solid 1400m efforts in stronger grades and has the right rider profile, but the rise to 2000m is the main reservation. |
