NUM TIME COMMENT
1 10:50 Race 1 800m
PECHE PLATE (9) brings the strongest overall case despite a plain sixth at Kasamatsu last start when beaten over 13 lengths in 3yo+ C1 company. Her fourth to G T Oka the run before, beaten a length and a half, reads well for this C7 over 800m, and her two Kasamatsu wins give her a firmer platform than most. WIN POLARIS (5) is the obvious danger on profile rather than latest result, having started favourite at both recent runs but finished well beaten; the class drop and strong Kasamatsu stable-rider combination keep her right in calculations. ARCHIBALD (2) improved to fifth last start and has enough place consistency to be a genuine threat for the minor money, though the maiden record and track-distance numbers temper the winning case. AVANZA YUKI (8) was close up two runs back and worked home last start, but she also has the 800m query and must turn that honest form into something sharper.
2 11:20 Race 2 1400m
BAMBI CHAN (4) sets the standard through consistency, having run second at her past three and most recently finishing second over 800m at Kasamatsu, beaten four lengths by Tayasu Sole after being well found in betting. The rise to 1400m remains the main question, but her prior second to Pretty Punk and strong place record with Tsutsui Yusuke give her the clearest profile. TEXTURE (3) is the main threat, with two recent fourths and late work that suggests the longer distance can help, though she is still a maiden after 13 starts and was behind Bambi Chan last time. HANANO KUROKO (6) bounced back sharply when beaten a length by Dona Dona and stays in the mix if that form holds. SMILING KING (7) has a poor overall record, but his latest finish had enough merit to make him a minor danger rather than a winning anchor.
3 11:50 Race 3 1400m
DROP OF RAY (9) has the most persuasive current profile, having placed at all three Kasamatsu runs and again filled second at C1 level last start when beaten two and a half lengths as a prohibitive odds-on favourite. She has been costly at short quotes, but this C6 assignment gives her the right chance to convert. KO LANTA (4) is the chief danger after a sound fourth over 1580m and a previous C1 win here, with her Kasamatsu 1400m record and rider combination reading well. ONE SHORT DAY (1) has enough C1 form to stay in the minor-money mix, although she needs to finish off better than at her past two. HIRUNO EL NIDO (3) was well beaten last time but had been beaten only half a length the run prior, so she is best treated as a place chance rather than a winning threat.
4 12:25 Race 4 1400m
PROPELLER SHAFT (1) has the most reliable profile among the main chances, with a solid fourth behind Bravo Kirishima at Kasamatsu last start and a deep record at this track and distance. He also had Yamami Wolf covered in that recent meeting, which gives him a clear reference point. YAMAMI WOLF (8) is harder to trust off two last-place finishes, but he is a track-and-trip winner and the return of a rider already successful on him keeps him firmly in calculations if he can turn recent form around. JOUR SE LEVE (6) brings the stronger track-and-distance place record, with one win and six placings from twelve, and her latest fourth behind Lovushka was enough to keep her in the race. TRIXI (9) resumes off two honest placings, including a second to Meisho Nanakaze, but the maiden record makes her more a winning danger than a runner to take on trust.
5 12:55 Race 5 1400m
BETELGEUSE (8) is the one to beat despite coming off a plain fifth as a well-supported favourite, beaten five and a half lengths by Noah Black at Kasamatsu. That market confidence is still a positive guide in a race lacking a dominant last-start winner, but she must give punters a better return this time. TOSEN PASSO (1) is the main danger on his near-miss two runs back, when beaten a length by G T Oka, and his proven Kasamatsu 1400m record gives him a reliable base if he can put the latest fade behind him. T O LYRA (4) brings the freshest winning reference, having beaten Kimini Meromero two back before a sound fourth, while NIHONPIRO PERRY (5) has the best track-and-distance profile of the quartet and looks the dependable place-and-win saver if the principals leave the door open.
6 01:25 Race 6 1580m
KING OF WORLD (3) sets the standard after consecutive Kasamatsu seconds, each by a neck, and he has already won at this track and distance. The step to 1580m is still the point to settle, but his recent 1400m form reads the cleanest. MEINER WARRIOR (2) is the main danger after being beaten only half a length in 3yo+ A4B2 grade last start, and his broader 12-month record gives the profile depth, though this is his first try at the distance. AVENTURIER (6) is harder to trust for the win, having been unwanted in betting and winless across the past year, but he keeps finding minor money often enough to be a genuine place threat. KAJIKA RISE (5) has the track record to stay in the conversation, yet his last two runs have lacked finish, so he needs to turn market respect into a stronger final 200m.
7 01:55 Race 7 1400m
SUNSET VERY (3) sets the standard after lifting sharply at Kasamatsu last start, finishing third to Chateau Periotto in 3yo+ A4B2 company and beaten a length. His Nagoya run prior was plain, but the return here brought the right response and his 1400m record gives that effort substance. SCHRODINGER (8) is the main danger, with a beaten-neck second here two back before a third to King Minister in 3yo+ A3 grade, and his deep Kasamatsu 1400m record keeps him firmly in the mix. HOME RUN BATTER (4) has been fourth at his past two, including behind King Minister last time, and profiles as a genuine minor-money threat with a strong jockey-horse record. SUNSET COLOR (2) was below par over 1580m last start, yet her earlier fourth at Kasamatsu and proven track-distance record give her claims if she rebounds.
8 02:25 Race 8 1400m
M T ROUGE (1) clearly deserves top billing after a determined Mombetsu win over 1000m, where she held Sergeant Pepper by a head and was well found in betting. The main reservation is the rise to 1400m, especially given she was beaten over 11 lengths the start prior, but that last-start turnaround gives her the strongest winning platform. ACTIVO (6) is the main danger on consistency, with two Kasamatsu seconds and placings from both attempts at this distance. She still has to convert those minor placings into a win, but her profile is solid. LACRIME (2) has placed three times from five starts and was second to On Bait two runs back, though her latest third was beaten over 11 lengths. KANHIZAKURA (4) improved sharply when third at Mombetsu at big odds, but the step to 1400m asks another question.
9 03:05 Race 9 1400m
A SHIN YATAGARASU (8) sets the standard through his Kasamatsu 1400m profile, with five wins and one placing from seven attempts at the track and trip. His B2 win by a neck over King Of World as odds-on favourite was narrow rather than dominant, but it backed up a solid second to King Minister and his recent record is hard to fault. SMART TEMPEST (1) is the main threat after running second to With Philip over 1580m, beaten a length despite being unwanted in the market, and the return to a proven 1400m assignment is a clear positive. RYOMA (2) has been below market expectation at his past two, yet he keeps closing off and the Tatsuya Watanabe partnership is a major stabiliser. SATONO RUSH (6) arrives off a B5 win and had also run second at B6 level, so he is genuine enough, though he looks more a solid danger than the horse with the sharpest winning profile.
10 03:40 Race 10 1400m
COSMO MEMORABLE (5) has the most reliable profile among the main chances, having justified short odds in a 3yo+ B6 here last start and bringing an excellent Kasamatsu 1400m record into this B1. Her third-up platform, course-and-distance strength and proven pairing with Kyoka Fukazawa make her the runner to beat. INTI PYRO (7) is the clear danger after putting four lengths on Embracement in a 3yo+ B4 here, and her two wins and two placings from five starts at this track and distance give that win substance, though her previous fourth shows she still has to hold that level. A SHIN TAVERNA (6) is hard to knock for consistency, coming off a two-length win after a string of placings, but this looks a deeper assignment than her latest 3yo+ B9C2 success. PUERTA AZUL (4) earned respect with a five-length 3yo+ B7 win and can run well again, although her earlier fifth over 1580m keeps the winning case just short of the top pair.
11 04:15 Race 11 1400m
ON BAIT (4) sets the standard after consecutive Kasamatsu wins, the latest by three lengths as a heavily supported odds-on chance, and her two-from-two record both at the track and at the distance gives the form a very solid shape. SATSUKI QUANTUM (2) is the main danger on her eight-length win here a fortnight ago, though she was beaten five lengths by On Bait the run prior, so she still has a margin to bridge on that direct line. QUATRE BLANCHE (7) brings different form, having run fourth in a 2yo Open over 1800m at Sapporo after winning at Mombetsu, and the drop back to 1400m is the main query. NINE SYMPHONY (8) earned respect with a last-start Kasamatsu win over this trip, but On Bait had him well covered two back, making him more a contender if the recent improvement is genuine.
