Will appreciate the firmer surface and take a hand in the finish. TITAN'S SOUL (6) improving gelding not to be underestimated at his fourth race start. Resumed with a fast finishing third over 1590m at Wodonga. Has the upside to run a big race today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Misil Beauty can win in a tricky staying contest. |

Solid tempo with Alice Alice, Tully's Bell and Shes Xee going hard, closely attended by Hey Bluey. ALICE ALICE (2) returns from a five-month spell. Showed ability at Albury on debut, then faded late in a Super Maiden when last over 1000m at Wagga. In leading yard and can figure prominently. PHENOMENORM (9) anchored with the 59.5kg in the soft (7) going with a poor ninth over 1000m at Tatura. Assess on earlier runs and drops 4.5kg for this. Improver. HEY BLUEY (7) knocked up late on resumption for the new yard with a poor fifth over 1280m at Canberra Acton a month ago. This is her first run for the Trevor Mcilrick stable and finds a fairly ordinary contest. Place chance. FLO JO THE ESKIMO (6) bounced back to form with a third place run at Queanbeyan after a less than encouraging ninth at Narromine two back. Further improvement can see her in the finish. Mighty Mozzie and Western Lights possess good early speed. FROSTED AMBER (6) comes here fifth up and desperate for the firmer track. Struggled to run the 1400m out on the heavy (10) track when fifth over 1400m at Gundagai in a Super Maiden. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. LULL US AWAY (7) leading contender at start sixteen after running on late to finish third over 1200m at Corowa. On the eight-day back-up and no excuses here from the rails draw. WESTERN LIGHTS (10) worked hard from the sticky gate and was a spent force in the straight when tiring to finish seventh over 1200m at Corowa. Earlier runs had merit and keep safe. TASSY FOX (9) resumes after showing ability when running some handy races last time in. Came to the end of her prep with a struggling eighth over 1400m at Gundagai. Will take catching. MASTER OF DISGUISE (3) improver third up after she went out hard before finishing sixth over 1200m at Wyong in a decent race. Gets in light with the claim and has genuine prospects. ZETHUS (2) tough old gelding kept fresh for this. Went back from the wide gate and failed to get into the contest when twelfth over 1200m at Seymour on August 7. Since fitted with a trial placing over 900m at Wangaratta. Improver. PRETTY PENGUIN (6) seven-year-old mare who may have needed the run last start when resuming at Bendigo over 1000m. In the mix on best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 7,3,2,6. |

Bumped into the smart Spirits Burn Deep when fourth over 1180m in a BM66 at Gundagai. Can get cover from the draw and take a hand in the finish. SWIFT HIT (5) has raced below par at his last three outings and gets another chance in this weaker race. Kept up to the mark with a 900m trial placing and maps well.
