Lots of speed predominantly from Graphien, Loquito and Early Edition. BULLRUN (2) brings the most reliable current pointer after resuming with a second at Emerald, and while this is a stronger assignment than that picnic-grade return, he has already placed at the distance and gets a suitable maiden to press on with. GRAPHIEN (5) has a more forgiving last-start profile than the margin suggests, having been slow away and wide throughout at Aramac, while her prior Rockhampton run was far more competitive. EARLY EDITION (9) resumes from a break and his Carrathool second reads well enough for this, though the drop back from 1200m to 1000m is the main reservation. SAINT ANNS (12) is the steadier each-way option: she has placed regularly, won an easy MacKay trial and has enough recent substance to be competitive fresh, but her 1000m record keeps her just behind the top trio. CONVEYOR PARTNERS QTIS RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 Handicap 1630m
A strong gallop is likely with Masali Raffa and Final Comment taking up the running, closely attended by Panda Drum and Nitrogen. PRIDE OF SAVABELLA (1) sets the standard after going under by just over half a length in a Benchmark 60 at Emerald, with the late hold-up giving that run extra merit. He is third-up, draws kindly, and has already placed at the track, though the 1630m remains the question. PANDA DRUM (9) has the profile to rebound: he was tightened last start, drops from 62kg to 57.5kg and is a proven Emerald track-and-trip winner. MASALI RAFFA (7) was plain at Mackay, but his Dingo third was competitive and his two Emerald placings keep him in the winning discussion if he handles the rise in distance. I WANT IT ALL (8) brings the most progressive recent form, having won a Maiden before a Benchmark 60 second at Mackay. She is back from 1800m and looks a genuine danger, particularly if she repeats that latest finishing effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pride Of Savabella to win. |

AAA TILT TRAY TOWING BENCHMARK 62 Handicap 1280m
Mission Ridge should lead at a keen tempo. EASTCOAST HUSSLER (8) is the horse to beat despite missing as favourite at Prairie last start, with his broader profile still very appealing for a Benchmark 62. He has won three of seven, drops from 62.5kg to 58kg, and his Blackall win over 1400m as a well-supported favourite reads strongly enough for this. LONERGY (3) brings the most reliable recent finishing form, coming out of a provincial Dalby second where he was hampered on the home turn and still finished within just under two lengths of Hello Dolly Diva. TOO MANY KISSES (9) is race fit, backs up quickly, and returns to Emerald after a Benchmark 55 win here before a sound Class 3 second at Thangool. LUNAR EIGHT (4) is the consistent danger, beaten only a neck last start after winning a Class 3 on soft ground two back, but she may need to produce her best again at this trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eastcoast Hussler each-way. |

THANKYOU RACING QUEENSLAND Class 6 Plate 1200m
Hot pace certain with Straya Pride, Ichiberu and Humble Hero keen to take up the running. WOODSTOCK ROCK (5) gets the nod after an excellent Emerald win two back, then a sound Mackay second behind Contemporary over 1050m. The return to 1200m suits on his record, and his overall strike rate and wet-track consistency make him the most reliable option, although he was beaten as a well-backed runner last time. HUMBLE HERO (4) brings the strongest winning habit, having won a Benchmark 68 at Mackay after scoring in Benchmark 58 grade at Rockhampton, and his record with Natalea Summers is a major tick. ELLIBABY (10) was below market expectation at Thangool, but her narrow Emerald second two back and proven 1200m form keep her right in the race. ASTAPOR (8) is the value place threat: he has placed in both runs this prep, gets weight relief from Moree, and has already been competitive at Emerald, but needs to turn the tables on Woodstock Rock to win. A strong gallop is likely with Hooroo and Take Three taking up the running, closely attended by Whiskey Glasses and Queen Of Light. HOOROO (2) sets the standard after winning on debut at Mackay as an odds-on favourite by just under three lengths in a Maiden. He still has to confirm it at Class 1 level, but the authority of that first performance gives him the strongest profile. HEROIC TALENT (5) has not won often, yet his Mackay fourth in Benchmark 55 grade came after a wide run and his wet-track record is a useful asset. CRUDO (4) earned respect with a four-and-a-half-length Birdsville Maiden win, though his previous heavy-track defeat at Nowra keeps the soft 5 as the question. BRUTAL LASS (3) made progress finishing midfield last start at Ipswich on a soft track when well supported, could add some value to betting. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hooroo can go back-to-back. |

Good tempo with several going forward, primarily Mississippi Morn, Tokyo Sins and Sunnycoast. PRE EMINENCE (1) sets the standard if he transfers his metropolitan Class 6 form to Emerald. He resumes from a two-month freshening, but his Doomben second to Zoubaby over 1110m reads well for this, and the return to 1000m suits a horse with three wins and two placings from seven runs at the distance. SAILOR'S RUM (9) is the clear danger after a sound fourth in a 3yo+ Class 6 at Mackay and a prior second as a well-supported favourite at Thangool; the 55kg impost and strong rider-horse record are genuine assets. OUTBACK ACTION (2) comes off a Bowen second beaten a nose and profiles as a reliable place chance with winning upside if he repeats that finish. MISSISSIPPI MORN (8) resumes after six months but brings a four-run winning streak and a perfect three-from-three record at the Emerald 1000m, so he must be respected despite the break. She stays at the same trip, has missed a place only once in seven starts, and Nikki Olzard has been aboard for all three Emerald runs. SPEED KING (6) is the main danger after winning at Dingo despite beginning slowly and racing wide, while his Middlemount second two back keeps the recent form sound. I'M STELLAR (3) has been runner-up at her past two, including a Benchmark 55 placing here, and gets back to 1000m with solid Emerald credentials, though she has been costly as a beaten favourite. SCARLET HAZE (7) resumes from six months off with a strong 1000m record and a seven-length Moranbah win in the book. SUGGESTED PLAY: Anthropology can win again. |
