CLOUDY LOOKS (10) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.5 lengths at this track and distance last time out to continue her outstanding recent form. Likely to be there at the finish again. LUCKY COME COME (7) was well fancied last start over 900m at this track when seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths. Deserves another chance. QUANTIZE (8) fought on for third last start over 900m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. |

Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. |

That followed a win at Urawa at the previous outing. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a leading player. MOZU AKATOMBO (10) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 22 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 800m at Urawa, beaten 4.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. ROKUNO RAINBOW (7) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at this track but disappointed last time when ninth, beaten 6 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Can bounce back. |

Well placed and should be in the finish. A SHIN CARROTS (6) drifted back from his wide draw last start then hit the line hard to grab third at Funabashi over 1200m. Sure to prove tough to stop. NON STANDARD (13) didn't fire over 1800m at Funabashi last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run prior. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SHIGERU OTOKOGI (11) is back at the races for the first time since November 18. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1500m at this track. Worth plenty of thought. |

Likely to be there at the finish again. MELOS GO (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Urawa but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 5 lengths over 1400m at Urawa. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects. |

Norifumi Mikamoto sticks. Leading contender. MARRON SOLEIL (5) finished second two runs back at Monbetsu then improved last time out to score by one length over 1800m at Monbetsu. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. EYE LEADS (3) has been kept fresh since finishing fourth over 2000m at this track six weeks ago. Was a determined winner two runs back. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the better hopes. |

Taking on a better line-up this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. SWEET DREAM (8) has not won for a long while.
