IT'S A SOLID DEEL (4) will bring some sound Port Augusta form to this and should not find this assignment much harder. Stick with him on an each-way basis. SON OF VADAMOS (6) finished third 4-days ago at Mildura and cops a decent gate here. If he backs up, then he is worth including in all top 4 combos. ARES FLIGHT (1) needs to improve but can do so in this contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Didactic can win this. |

Genuine tempo from Mr Zeus leading Pretty Morsel. PRETTY MORSEL (10) gave a good sight when leading up at Naracoorte last start, finishing second, and was also solid when running on late for third here before that. She is overdue for her first win, and stepping up to 1600m for the first time could be the key to getting the job done. KHORASAN (8) has steadily improved with racing, and she made up some good late ground when finishing third here 10 days ago. She will also be trying a mile for the first time and can have the last say. OR AM I (9) has been a touch disappointing overall and will have the blinkers off for the first time here. She is backing up quickly and is definitely good enough to win a maiden race at short notice. BLABBER MOUTH (5) probably should have quit maidens by now, and she is resuming from a spell that would have done her the world of good. She also has the blinkers off for the first time and should be hitting the line hard. Each way. RED RIPPLES (3) is peaking at the right time and is worth including. Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a keen tempo. LARRY CAN (2) has been given plenty of time to mature, and he looked good when winning the most recent of 2 public trials. Cam Rawiller picks up the ride, and with some luck from a wide gate, he can make an immediate impact. Check the markets. VETTURA (11) won the first of her 2 public trials, and she also makes her debut from a wide gate. She might be wanting more ground but should pick up a win at short notice. UPSANDDOWNS (8) is another on debut, and this gelding hails from the in-form Stephen Theodore stable. He has the blinkers on, and with some solid trial efforts under his belt, he will be ready to rumble. ASTERNAL LOVE (9) makes her debut after winning 4 of her 5 trials, including 2 last month. A good draw will ensure that she is hard to beat. SIMPLY MAC (3) set the pace and fought hard for third on debut here 5 weeks ago, and though he has some maturing to do yet, he can figure in the top 3 again. Not a great deal of pace on paper so it may be left to one of the debutants to take it up. PRINCESS DAISY (11) had some strong trial form prior to finishing fourth on debut at Morphettville in metro company 11 days ago. She had to work hard in that race, so to finish where she did was very encouraging. This is easier, and she should go close. GLADIAC (10) has improved in each of her 3 public trials and will only need some luck from a tricky gate to be very competitive on debut. Follow any positive market leads. GIFT OF SILENCE (8) won her latest of 3 trials under Rochelle Milnes who will keep the ride for her debut. She is in good hands and adds to the puzzle in a decent field with a lot of unknowns. ZEREALM (5) put in a good effort to finish fourth on debut here, and then was runner-up by a nose at Strathalbyn 3 weeks ago. He is a 5YO having just his third career start, and his first win is not far away. NEVER PEGASUS (3) is another first starter who has won a recent trial. He has been patiently handled and deserves respect, especially if there is any money for him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Princess Daisy can win this. |

Expecting Rich Britt to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. REOFFER (12) was only beaten by a short head here fresh up after setting the pace and then was less than 2 lengths off the winner when fourth at Strathalbyn 3 weeks ago. A nasty gate won't help, but she is still worth including to be safe. MISS KASEI (11) showed talent, if a bit on the weak side, when trained in Victoria, and she makes her South Australian debut here with 2 trials under her belt. She might want a touch further than 1000m, but she can still win this. HEART OF THE MED (7) was put aside to mature after 2 starts last season, winning on debut. She is stronger now and has been close up in a couple of tune-up trials. The blinkers are on, and she should be right in the finish fresh. CHARKA (4) strips fitter second up and is another top 4 chance in an even contest. RICH BRITT (3) has the blinkers on for the first time, and she can bounce back into the top 4. SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Kasei each-way. |

Solid pace on the cards with Easy Beast and Star Decorum who like to get rolling early. EASY BEAST (6) has won 10 of his 100 starts and was brave in defeat last time out when leading up, before finishing second by just over 3 lengths. He might try similar tactics here, and with fitness on his side, he could take some pegging back again. HEART'S EMBRACE (5) has needed both of her runs back from a spell, and she will find this easier than his last run over 2000m at Warracknabeal 11 days ago. King Callow replacing an apprentice is the key here, and the pair merits healthy respect. I LOVE THIS SONG (9) has not been far away in any of his recent racing, and he is nicely placed in this after a 2kg claim. His record on this track over the trip is only modest, but he is still in it with a top 4 chance. VALUED (1) does not help himself by settling well off the pace in his races, but he is often hitting the line hard late in the run home. If the race is run to suit him, then he can have the last say. TURNED LOOSE (7) is backing up quickly, and she did have an excuse last start. SUGGESTED PLAY: Heart's Embrace each-way. |

He holds his form when fit, and another good effort is on the cards. YOUBEEFORTY (11) has been freshened since his last effort 5 weeks ago, and he is a top 4 chance in this modest field.
