TETE D'OR (3) scored a commanding win at Funabashi over 1200m at her latest appearance on May 5, the only time she faced the starter in that campaign. Sure to make her presence felt. RELAXANTE (2) is a 17-start maiden who was close to a win before a four months break, finishing off with a minor placing at this track. Can pick up where he left off. All set for a bold return. TIMELESS BLOOM (4) finished 10 lengths adrift in eighth last time at this track in a disappointing performance. This is a nice drop in grade so he can find the winners' list. NOISETIER (9) has switched yards since finishing third three weeks ago over 1500m at this track. One of the genuine hopes in the race. |

M T RAIKA (9) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff he finished tenth over 1300m at Kochi. Rates on top and is a great chance to break through. G T GRACE (1) met with solid support when resuming last start over 1400m at this track when seventh, beaten 7 lengths. Draws ideally and worth another chance. YAGIRI PEARL (11) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 1200m at Funabashi. One of the main contenders. M ONE WORKS (5) resumed over 1200m at Funabashi where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish fourth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Can figure in the finish. |

VINA DREAM (7) faced the starter for the first time and finished fifth last start at this track over 800m, beaten 10 lengths. Likely improver and can get off the mark this time. DAIBA MAAYA (6) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 20 lengths when sixth in a 1300m contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. YUYU KOKUTOBA (2) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at this track, beaten 10 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. YUYU CURACAO (1) was fair on debut last time out when fourth over 800m at this track. Should appreciate the extra ground. Right in this. |

REBAT (3) has not appeared since he finished tenth over 1400m at this track on April 24. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. SPELL GASSAN (9) improved last start to finish third over 1500m at Funabashi. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. A I KIRISHIMA (5) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Must be included. |

KUU LEI NANI (1) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at this track over 1500m, beaten a neck. That run should have her rock-hard fit now. Masashige Honda who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be in the finish. LIVE RADIAN (4) resumed over 1400m at this track and showed good speed to lead around the bend before fading to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Expected to be in this for a long way. SANTA ANA WIND (11) ran below expectations last time at Funabashi over 1800m, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths. Can bounce back. AYASAN MERCI (8) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Funabashi over 1200m. Won't find this as tough so she is sure to be prominent. |

FAIR MELODY (10) scored two back at Kawasaki but was below her best last time when fifth over 1400m at Kawasaki after being in contention on the corner. Finds a nice race and can make amends. ASTRAL FLARE (7) returned from a spell three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 1400m at this track. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TELEOS BOS (2) held on well to finish second last time out over 1500m at Funabashi after leading for much of the way. Bold showing expected. FELICE RALLY (11) performed above expectations last time over 1400m at this track, getting the prize by 2 lengths. Drawn out but does go back and work into his races. Solid claims on best form. |

Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SPRING NEIGE (10) finished 8 lengths adrift in seventh last time at this track in a disappointing performance. Dai Okada gets the best out of this eight-year-old mare. Finds a nice assignment and can turn things around. JUST THE VALSE (4) started at $4.50 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below her best, finishing 11th over 2000m at this track. Has the talent to put the recent run behind her. STHENNO (11) finished 11th at this track and distance at her last appearance 12 weeks ago. Makes plenty of appeal. |

BLACK EMPIRE (5) finished 5 lengths back in third over 800m at this track last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give a great sight. MIZU RULER (6) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 800m at this track. Look for a better run this time out. CEPHEID LOOP (9) was safely held when fourth last time out over 800m at this track, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. One of the main hopes. |

Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Sure to be in the finish. CHESUTO (9) has been out of the frame at his last couple of runs, last time finishing 9 lengths away in seventh over 1300m. Much better placed this time. ROUGE SOMNIUM (2) finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in eighth last start after being in contention on the corner over 1600m at Kyoto, an improvement on her 11th at Kyoto the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. VIP LUKE (11) performed above expectations last time over 1400m at this track, getting the prize by 0.8 lengths. A chance again based on that latest offering. |

Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. EIS KING (8) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Funabashi over 1200m after being in contention all the way. Will need a good ride from Yuki Yamanaka off the awkward draw but can win. QUEEN'S STELA (7) turned in a strong run last time when she settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only half a length into third over 1500m at this track. Is a winner at this circuit. Should be involved in the finish. TSUGANO SHOGUN (1) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over today's course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. |

FORTITUDE (7) is a promising type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Put together three wins on the run before finishing in the minors last time when third at this track. Races well here and will go close again. SUPERMAN (10) was last at the races when he finished 13th over 1400m at Chukyo on December 21. Now under the care of new trainer Satoshi Kokubo. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. AI GRACE (9) resumes in a similar race to her last run nine months ago when second, beaten half a length. Looks a strong top-three prospect. BODY CONSCIOUS (5) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by a neck over 800m here last time. Ryo Novata stays aboard. Don't underestimate. |
