NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:05 GREENWAY TURF SOLUTIONS 2YO MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Union and Monte Shell should set a strong gallop. UNION (4) well-bred Snitzel gelding returning for his second campaign. Showed plenty of early toe on debut when fifth to Music Time over 1000m at Canberra last February. Fitted with the two trials and finds a winnable contest. Hard to hold out. ANDARNA (7) Farnan filly resuming from a lengthy break. Kept safe in betting on debut with a disappointing sixth over 1000m at this track. Has impressed in her two latest trials and worth noting Tommy Berry retains the ride. Each-way. HEARTS AFFAIR (11) resumes. Found a fairly strong Maiden on debut with a battling eighth over 1100m at Warwick Farm last February. Looks to have developed further over the break judging by her two good trials. Top-three contender. HAMMERTIME (10) resuming. Slow into stride on debut with a struggling seventh over 1200m at Wyong last March . Wasn't pushed out in her two trials and worth thought from the draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Union in a very tough contest.
2 12:40 COLLAPPOR8 ACCOUNTING MAIDEN HANDICAP 1300m
Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of first starters. GLISSANDO (4) never looked happy in the heavy conditions on debut when running fifth over 1150m at Randwick Kensington. Gets the benefit of Grima's claim again and looking for this trip and further. Go close. QUADRIA (11) back for her second campaign after showing ability on the provincial circuit last prep. Placed in both barrier trials and did finish third here last March. Value prospect. RAPID REVENUE (3) reared at the start on debut and found the 1150m too sharp when ninth at Randwick Kensington on the heavy (9) surface. Blinkers go on and will appreciate the extra trip. Finds an easier contest. SWIFT DELIVERY (6) Flying Artie filly from Wordplay on debut for the David Pfieffer yard. Blinkers and lugging bit go on after the two trials. Can play a leading role in the small field.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Glissando finds a very average Maiden.
3 01:15 MMJ WOLLONGONG SUPER MAIDEN PLATE 1600m
Expecting Copartner Pegasus to lead Tupelo Twist at just a moderate tempo. EQUINOX LEGEND (5) talented gelding who chipped away late on resumption with a respectable fifth over 1400m at this track. Ready for this trip and further and kept up to the mark with a 1045m tick over trial. Can make better use of the good gate today and is expected to go close. COPARTNER PEGASUS (3) should get a comfortable lead and is ready to win fifth-up. Anchored with the 59kg when no match for the smart Satono Jasmine running third over 1600m at Gosford. Finds an easier race and is capable of shedding his Maiden tag. CLANWILLIAM (2) was beaten for early speed and got further back than anticipated with a fast finishing third over 1400m at Randwick Kensington. Well drawn and desperate for this trip and further now. Value contender. WEE WINN (11) keeps progressing as she gets out in trip. Savaged the line from the low draw with a narrow third over 1600m at this track. Apprentice sticks and is sure to be thereabouts.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,3,2,11.
4 01:55 TBC DISTRIBUTION MIDWAY 3YO MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200m
Anticipating good pressure with many of these facing the starter for the first time. CREATOR OF WORLD (7) nice return on his home track here running second, then struggled on the heavy track with a plugging seventh over 1150m at Randwick Kensington in a Super Maiden. Will go back from the draw and can return to form over the extra ground. PARIAH TIME (3) worked hard early from the outside gate first-up when he gripped on well to finish a narrow second over 1200m at Moruya. Looks up to this stronger contest with race experience on his side. Shapes as the main danger with the key jockey change. CELESTIAL GRACE (12) returns after four months in the paddock. Bumped into some handy types last preparation and can sprint well fresh with Grima's claim. Fitted with the two trials and expected to go close. WRITTEN DOLL (8) resumes. Ran a creditable fourth on debut over 1100m at Hawkesbury last March. Has impressed in his two latest trials and can make a positive return.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 7,3,12,8.
5 02:35 BLACK ALY WINDOW TINTING CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1300m
Rose Of Fenway to take up the running with Onmalone and Cuesta close at hand. CUESTA (3) is unlucky not to have a few more wins on the CV and can get the better of these today third-up. Stalked the speed and presented at the right time when she failed to go on with it, finishing fifth over 1200m at Wyong. Key jockey change and ready for this trip and further now. Hard to stop from the draw. CALL ME SASSY (5) ran below expectations last time at Hawkesbury after blowing the start to run a battling seventh over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Tommy Berry retains the ride and is expected to bounce back quickly. ROSE OF FENWAY (6) gave them a galloping lesson first-up over this trip on the Illawarra Grange, then went out quickly before folding up in the straight to run third over 1400m here. Likely leader who will give a ton of cheek. Each way. ONMALONE (1) jumped in grade second-up and never looked comfortable in the heavy going with a plugging fifth over 1200m at Canterbury in BM64 class. Finds a firmer track and winning rider hops back aboard.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Cuesta can score a well deserved victory.
6 03:10 SITE DROP CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1600m
A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. AETHELWULF (1) talented gelding who made a mess of them first-up with a comfortable 5-length victory at Newcastle. Shouldered the 60kg last start with a respectable fifth over 1400m at Newcastle. Zac Lloyd takes the reins and is ready for this trip and further now. Can bounce back. CALL ME MOJO (4) faded late when a month between runs to secure fourth over 1600m at Wyong after showing good early speed. Has the upside to give a great sight with Tommy Berry booked. YACHIYO (3) chipped away late over the unsuitable trip first-up when fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Raced well over this trip in Victoria last campaign. Maps well and can take a hand in the finish. ARIZONA LONER (8) comes here in peak condition fifth-up after running on late with a creditable third over 1400m at Newcastle. Cross-over nose band goes on and stays in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Aethelwulf looks to have more upside than most of these.
7 03:50 CACTUS IMAGING BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1000m
Expecting Shalaa Gold to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. CENTURY SONG (1) unlucky not to get the money first-up over this track and trip and has raced out of his grade at the last two outings. Slow into stride and shuffled back along the inside with a plugging eighth over 1100m at Rosehill in BM78 company. Saves his best for his home track and this trip. The one to beat. VINGT NEUF NOIR (9) consistent sprinting filly who comes here fifth-up on a firmer track. Failed to make it three straight wins when slow into stride before catching the eye when fourth over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Winning rider goes back on and stays in the mix. STILL ALICE (7) excellent return with 59.5 kg to run fourth over 1100m at Hawkesbury in a strong rating contest. Proven second-up and gets map favours. SHALAA GOLD (2) resumes in a weaker contest. Has impressed in his two trials and will push forward and give plenty of cheek with the claim.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Century Song can get the better of these with the 62kg.
8 04:25 HOTEL TOTTO PROVINCIAL BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1200m
Let's Go Again to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. LET'S GO AGAIN (4) talented mare who bumped into some very progressive types in town last prep. Primed for this with the trial placing over 800m here. Will relish the 2kg claim and can get cover from the gate. Hard to hold out. BENAMERA (7) is deep into the campaign and raced without luck from the wide gates at his last two outings. Drawn to stalk the speed and ticks a few boxes with Chad Schofield aboard. ZARAGOZA (2) solid effort under the circumstances first-up when he covered a stack of ground to finish a fading eighth over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Blinkers come off from a better draw and no shock to see him finish over the top of these. CRYPTONIC (1) resumes with an excellent fresh record and the blinkers come off. Raced in stronger company last time in and can go on with it this prep. Fitted with the one 796m trial and gets the claim. Each-way.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,7,2,1.
