NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:27 TAB Maiden Plate 800m
Prestige Austria is the probable leader in the small field. LADY MILAN (6) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the frame at her past three outings and strikes a very winnable contest here. Has placed around this circuit and will be rock-hard fit for this contest. Looks the one they all have to run down. KVAS (5) resumes but the form she showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this calibre. Looms as the main danger while fresh. THE FOUNDLING (2) is another first-up but gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Top-three credentials. ALMOND GOLD (1) next best in a race with only a handful of chances.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lady Milan to shed the maiden tag.
2 01:04 RACING AND SPORTS QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Plate 1350m
Not much early pace and doubt they will go hard. One for the babies. PRETTY SMASHING (11) has been thereabouts in all three career outings to date and this is not an overly strong affair. Placed over this distance range last time out and will be ready to peak now third run back from the spell. Rates the testing material. GRIEVE ROAD (2) hit the frame here when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. Has to be included in calculations. CATFISH (1) has placed at the past couple of runs and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the finish. MASTER IN MOTION (12) will be better with that debut run now in the locker and cannot be discounted lightly. JASMINTINA (9) is next in line at odds with the claim from the low draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 11,2,1,12.
3 01:42 POCO VINO Maiden Plate 1700m
In a race without an obvious leader, either Kalamia King or Divil A Bit can roll them along. CANYA BERICH (8) went down by a narrow margin in town last time out and will find this assignment much more to her liking. Rodd sticks in the irons following that last-start placing and will strip fitter third-up from the spell. Sure to prove very hard to toss. KALAMIA KING (2) has hit the top five in nine of his past ten starts and is usually thereabouts. Has to be included from the favourable draw. SPEEGLE (10) will be rock-hard fit for this and may earn some minor money. DIVIL A BIT (1) has placed over this distance range and gets Allen on board. Rounds out the selections in a race with a long tail.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Canya Berich to go one better.
4 02:17 FERTPRO Class 2 Handicap 1200m
Solid tempo with Esprit Du Jour possessing enough dash to find the front. ESPRIT DU JOUR (5) is a very honest campaigner who has only missed a drum once in nine attempts over this distance range. Gets 1.5kg off from the low draw and shapes as a leading contender in a race decimated by scratchings. Former Victorian DIVINE JUSTICE (6) is having her first run for the new stable but should find this easier than what she faced down south. Respect any market confidence. IMMEDIATE (9) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and is a must for the exotics players. Stablemate LAND BANK (3) has a handy record around this circuit with a win and a placing from two attempts. In the mix while fresh.  SUGGESTED PLAY: With Esprit Du Jour.
5 02:57 BARRIER REEF POOLS Class 4 Handicap 1100m
Fast pace assured with Everybody Rise, Bee Exact and Bad Forest leading the charge. The penny has dropped for the well-related EVERYBODY RISE (1) (full to 2xG1 winner Russian Revolution) who has strung three wins together on the bounce since joining the new stable and is racing high on confidence of late. Hard to ignore winning form and rates the testing material against this line-up. VORKUTA (5) has placed over this track and trip and handles all surfaces. Was a dominant winner last start and can go back-to-back without surprising. MISS DE MEDICI (9) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to warrant consideration in a race like this. Can feature while fresh. IMMORTALITY (4) draws the inside marble and looks one for the multiples.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Everybody Rise to continue the picket fence.
6 03:34 GREAT NORTHERN Fillies and Mares RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1350m
Solid tempo with Lukey Blue to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. VOSTOKOVA (6) returned in fine fashion with a dominant Ballina victory and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that win. Successful rider Turner sticks in the stirrups and can go right on with the job now at a bit of value. HIDDEN FUTURE (10) is a bit hit or miss but is one from one over this track and trip and is more than capable enough on her day. Top-three conveyance. TANGO QUEEN (5) resumes here but has revved up for this with a recent trial and gets some weight off from the inside marble. Ticks a few boxes. LENNYSTAR (11) is better than the recent effort suggests and can run an improved race.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Vostokova to win again.
7 04:12 AVS SECURITY Colts, Geldings and Entires RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1350m
Moderate tempo headed by La Profecia. Open race to close out the card. LA PROFECIA (6) got the maiden victory out of the way last time out and is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from the inside alley. Gets some weight relief with the 1.5kg claim and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Strong winning prospects again. ATLANTIC COAST (3) is one from one over this course and distance and maps ideally for this contest from gate two. Capable of running a bold race. KING COBAMA (9) didn't measure up in town last time out but go on the solid Warwick win two back. Worth another chance. CLUBHOUSE (1) has hit the frame at the past three efforts and may earn some minor money again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with La Profecia.
