POWER MAGIC (2) is a 12-start maiden who looks close to breaking the duck after finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs, most recently when 2 lengths away in second over 800m at this track. Well placed and should go well again. VINA LAO CAI (6) resumes after a break of six months. Did win at her only other first-up run when on debut, scoring over 800m at this track. Has ability and should be right in the finish. SHINANO AMBER (7) is yet to break through in six runs. Finished eighth at her last appearance over 800m at this track on May 29. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. OPAL GREEN (1) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 800m at this track. Has ability and is worth including. |

JARDIN DU ROI (1) impressed last time with a 3 length win at Funabashi over this journey. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and three minor placings from six starts. Sure to go very well. SWIFT MARY (4) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at this track with a win over 1400m at this track four weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on current form she is good enough to take this out. WHITE ASH (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at this track after being in contention on the corner. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. HANUMAN BEACH (6) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on February 23, finishing tenth and beaten 10 lengths over 1400m at this track. Under the care of new trainer Kazuma Yabuguchi this prep. Reunites with Dai Okada who has a win when partnering. Don't underestimate. |

MOANIN J P (6) broke through for her maiden win over 800m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Looks well placed and she looks certain to measure up again. TUNAS (3) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 900m at Kawasaki. Likely improver with strong prospects. BEST POSITION (4) drifted back last start and never got into the race when beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 1200m at Funabashi. Should park just off the speed. Will give backers a great sight. VARVARA (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 7 lengths over 900m at Kawasaki. Nicely placed to bounce back. |

EMINENT CAREER (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 7 lengths into eighth after being in contention on the turn. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LUX LIEBEN (5) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when seventh over 1400m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. |

MIRACLE RISE (8) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid second over 1500m at Funabashi, beaten 3 lengths. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. ROBERTA IMPACT (4) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 1500m at Funabashi, beaten 3 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to run well again. |

Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. WIN GLADNESS (10) finished seventh, beaten 9 lengths, last time out over this course and distance after coming from an outside draw. Among the better chances. MONARCH SLUGGER (8) was beaten 13 lengths into fourth over 2000m at Kawasaki a week ago. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time. |

Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. JO SALUTE (8) finished fourth last start, beaten 8 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring two times from three starts. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. One to consider. CHOCOLAT ECLAIR (3) is fitter for two runs back from a spell, progressing nicely last time to finish third, beaten 7 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be thereabouts. |

ECORO LEONA (3) resumes from a spell of 11 weeks and is having her first outing under new trainer Takashi Mizuno. Finished 13th at Kokura Dirt over 1000m at the opening run last time in work. One of the better hopes despite the layoff. DANON RAINIER (8) was in great form at the end of the last campaign with back-to-back wins, the latest over 1400m at this track nine weeks ago. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will be in this for a long way. ON THE SQUARE (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at Funabashi, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. |

ALVAREZ (4) was successful last start over 1400m at this track, getting home by 3 lengths to make it three wins in a row. Winning rider Aoi Shinoya retains the mount. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is right in contention. STOIC NOAH (7) has put together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on May 29 over 1500m when he got home by half a length. Winning rider Wada Joji retains the mount. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. SUNS (10) lines up for the first time since April 23. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. Among the better hopes. NINGENTE IINA (8) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.8 lengths at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Taking on a better line-up this time but he can get the job done. |

EXCEL GRAND (10) met with solid support last start over 2000m at this track when fourth, beaten 12 lengths. Change of rider to Naoki Machida who has an excellent strike rate when in the saddle, including three wins. Among the leading chances. JUST THE VALSE (4) did a great job to score by 4 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a far better run. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. MEISHO TOWANI (1) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just six times from 68 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1600m at Funabashi, beaten 2.5 lengths. Each way hope. FANTA FESTA (9) went forward over 1500m at Funabashi last time but found a couple better. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Not to be discounted. |
