NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:27 TAB QTIS Two-Years-Old Maiden Handicap 1350m
Not much early pressure but Sniper Boom, Elevating and Nifty's Treasure can take up forward spots. The maiden babies kick us off. ELEVATING (4) just ran into one better at the Gold Coast over this distance range last time out and looks to be working up to a maiden victory. Gets the services of gun hoop Maloney in the irons and this is not an overly strong affair. Should be right there at the business end. SNIPER BOOM (1) was a touch disappointing when resuming but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this nature. Capable of a much better showing. MADAME DOUBTFIRE (7) strips fitter second-up from the spell and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Top-three candidate. NIFTY'S TREASURE (6) will be rock-hard fit now and may earn some minor money. The well-related MEAN KING (2) (half to 2xListed winner Flash Aah) best of the rest on debut.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Elevating to shed the maiden tag.
2 02:04 RAY WHITE IPSWICH Maiden Handicap 1200m
Kuia Ma and Summer Ready should set a strong tempo. LA PROFECIA (4) hasn't been too far away in all three career outings to date and has been well in the betting on all three occasions. Will be better with that first-up effort now in the locker and where there's smoke there's fire. Rates the testing material against this line-up after a couple of key scratchings. THRASH A BULLY (10) has placed over this distance range and will be rock-hard fit for this. Top-three credentials. KUIA MA (3) resumes but has tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and can run a bold race while fresh. BOWLING HARRY (2) next best at odds in a race with only a handful of chances.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 4,10,3,2.
3 02:42 FERTPRO BM58 Handicap 2150m
Expecting plenty of speed from Cast Party, Tesstify Trio and Big Tech from Gratification. OUR BRAVE LINI (8) didn't measure up in G2 company two back before just missing the placings at the Gold Coast last time out. Has a handy record at this circuit with a win and a placing from just two attempts and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. CAST PARTY (1) will be at peak fitness now fourth run back, draws favourably in gate two and gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim. Ticks a few boxes for a race of this calibre. BIG TECH (5) has hit the top-five at his past six outings and is usually thereabouts. A must for the multiples. TESSTIFY TRIO (6) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Our Brave Lini.
4 03:17 GREAT NORTHERN BM65 Handicap 1350m
Solid tempo anticipated with Lumens Lenny taking charge. Looks a wide open contest. GAMBINO (3) has gotten better with each run this time in work and appears to be working up to another victory. Drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate two and should prove very hard to hold out. VIXENETTE (9) will be ready to peak now third run back and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the outcome. LUMENS LENNY (5) saves his best form for this circuit with two wins and six placings from 12 spins. One for the exotics players. NAILS AND PRIDE (1) is a last-start winner who gets some weight off with the claim. In the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 3,9,5,1.
5 03:52 AVS SECURITY 0 - 62 Handicap 1100m
Booya Boy and Everybody Rise possess good early speed. The penny has dropped for the well-related EVERYBODY RISE (1) (full to 2xG1 winner Russian Revolution) who has put back-to-back wins together to start the campaign and is racing high on confidence of late. Winning rider Marshall sticks in the saddle and can easily bring up the hat-trick against this lot. ADRANOS (2) also hails from a handy family (half to G2 winner Tiamo Grace) and has placed two from two around this circuit. Rarely puts in a poor one and has to be included in calculations. BOOYA BOY (5) strips fitter third run back and may feature with any luck in running from the wide draw. BALTRAY (3) next best with Wiggins as pilot.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Everybody Rise to continue the picket fence.
6 04:34 BARRIER REEF POOLS Class 1 Handicap 1200m
Ardie Three should find the front with Dyami and Funky Zebra on his heels. VENOM RUSH (9) didn't measure up in Listed company at the latest effort but the form prior was full of merit. Has placed two from two over this track and trip and is sure to find this contest much more to his liking. Will be hitting the line with gusto. METAL MAN (2) hit the frame at the Gold Coast when resuming and gets the services of Melbourne Cup-winning hoop Dolan in the stirrups. Don't dismiss lightly. ARDIE THREE (4) looked handy winning at the Sunny Coast when facing the starter for the first time and Lang stays on top. Can go back-to-back to start the career. BOOMSHANKA (13) gets in well at the weights with the claim and is nicely placed to play a pivotal role.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 9,2,4.
