ECHO OF THE WILD (2) is a two-year-old gelding by Malmoos out of Beataboutthebush stepping out on debut for the Corne Spies stable. Should acquit himself well. Keep an eye out for any positive market movement. VISION OF GOLD (11) is a well-related two-year-old filly making her first appearance at the races. By Gold Standard from Supreme Vision who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at the elite level. Sure to be well-educated, being from the Mike Mathew De Kock stable. THEODORE ROOSEVELD (5) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 1200m at this track. Has ability and must be included in calculations. |

EMPRESS OF PEACE (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1600m at Turffontein Inside, beaten 6 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to find winning ways. SWORD OF LIGHT (5) is back after a break of nine months. At the last run before the layoff she finished sixth over 1600m at this track. Has ability and is a leading player. SAVARA'S PRINCESS (1) last appeared when she finished fourth over 1400m at Turffontein Standside on April 19. Sure to make her presence felt. |

PERIODIC TABLE (2) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 1200m at Turffontein Inside. Runner-up all three including a near miss here at only try two back. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HIGHWAY CODE (8) was close to a maiden win before a 11 weeks break, finishing off with a placing over 1600m at Turffontein Inside. Re-unites with Kabelo Matsunyane. Has ability and is a solid chance. TWELFTH OF NEVER (6) wasn't far off maiden success before a nine weeks break, finishing the prep with a minor placing at this track. Expect she has come on over the break. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. EIGER SANCTION (1) is mixing form but goes well course and distance. Can atone for a modest effort last time. ITSNOWORNEVER (8) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1700m at this track, clocking in 6 lengths from the winner. Has solid credentials. |

AQUARIUS (5) has not appeared since she finished fourth over 1400m at Greyville on April 11. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. OKLAHOMA SMOKESHOW (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in third over 1450m at Turffontein Inside. Finds a nice race and can secure another top-three finish. |

Winner in similar grade last time. Big chance to go back-to-back. MISS FANTASTIC (7) steps up in trip after scoring last time by a head over 1200m at this track on May 21. Big weight drop and has upside so another big run is on the cards. PRINCESS KEIRA (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Turffontein Inside over 1450m. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. FAIR PROPOSAL (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance. |

LONELY AS A CLOUD (1) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Turffontein Standside but raced below expectations last time over 1000m at Greyville, finishing eighth and beaten 4 lengths. Well placed and should be thereabouts. |

Sure to be in the finish. HAMMER BLOW (9) was safely held when third last time out over 1000m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. GUNBOAT (8) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.6 lengths over 1160m at Turffontein Standside. Can build on that solid recent effort. |
