Fitter and yet to miss a place here. Top chance. KANNAGI (5) drifted back from the inside draw last start then attacked the line with gusto to get the verdict by half a length win at this track over 1400m. Extra 100m should suit. Look for her late. CLEAN SLATE (6) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell, beaten 1.5 lengths. Owns a good second-up record so can progress. Will find this much easier and is drawn to advantage. BRICK YARD (5) improved last start but found one better at this track and distance, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. SOMBRERO (1) is a two-start maiden who was outclassed last start at Kyoto but is much better placed. Can measure up from the inside draw. MOLTO CARINA (8) is a top-four prospect. |

HAKUSAN LORELEY (4) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at Nakayama over 1600m, beaten 4.5 lengths. That was a good performance in stronger company. Better for the experience and looks very well placed. OMI PALOOZA (1) is still a maiden after eight starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at this track two starts back before finishing sixth last start. Gets the inside draw and cannot be left out of calculations. DINKY (3) has yet to miss the top-four. Worked home well but found a couple better last time. Well drawn and could break through. RYUNO CABBAGE (5) placed two back then last time out was fourth. Race fit and definitely worth including. |
