1 02:05 BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS RACE DAY PACKAGE NOW COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000m
Plenty of pace evident with Commanding Shadow and Bombay Boom leading the way from Haz Styles and Belnera. STORMY REIGN (12) ran below expectations when she covered ground in the run for a tiring seventh over 1200m at Canberra. Assess on the good third two-back at Goulburn. At her peak now and will push forward from the low draw. Well placed today. JUDITH'S REVENGE (11) returned with the two trials as a ($1.85 fav) when third over 1200m at Wagga. Has further upside and sure to be thereabouts. BOMBAY BOOM (1) resumes without a trial and gelded over the break. Raced without luck at three career runs in town and can overcome the wide draw. Keep safe. UNDER WRAPS (4) Astern gelding from Sneaky Tsu on debut for the Danny Beasley yard. Looked good when winning his only trial over 1000m at Wagga. Hard to stop from the low draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 12,11,1,4.
2 02:40 BUR REAL ESTATE COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1600m
From an outside gate Altrove can cross and join Keith up front. STAR EMPIRE (6) made a mess of them two-back at Wagga over this trip in dominant style. Then struggled over the 2000m at Queanbeyan when a fading sixth when up in class. Back to his right trip and John Kissick goes back on. Well placed to take this out. STRATEGIC DEFENSE (9) improving mare chasing her third straight victory. Stalked the speed from the good draw when proving too strong over this track and trip. No reason she can't win again. LOST YA SOCK (8) Wagga-trained mare racing in a rich vein of form. Looking to make it three-straight after proving too tough over the 1600m at Wagga. Genuine top three player. DESERT OPAL (4) fourth-up today and expecting a better showing after disappointing when ninth over 1400m at Gundagai. Gets Button's claim again and has solid figures on his home track.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,9,8.
3 03:15 YACKANDANDAH PARK BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1000m
Solid tempo anticipated with Calais Bliss and Bridie's Luck matching motors. CALAIS BLISS (9) created a big impression at start seven when running her rivals into the ground with a solid 6 len win over 1000m at Corowa. Jumps quickly to a BM66 and has the speed to overcome the wide gate. Goes close. LIGHT FOOT (8) had mixed luck in the two runs back and drops in trip with the blinkers going on. Gets the right set-up and will be strong late from the low gate. ORANGE EARS (3) lightly raced mare returning from a long layoff. Loomed strongly when second over 1200m at Moonee Valley in a BM70 last December. Fitted with a jump out win over 820m and must be kept safe with the claim. BARGINO (12) happy to give another chance after failing to handle the tight Gundagai track from the outside barrier when last over 1100m on November 14. Assess on his good win here first up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Calais Bliss and Light Foot should fight it out.
4 03:50 NSW JOCKEYS TRUST MAIDEN PLATE 1400m
Cayman Island has enough pace to cross from the outside draw in a race devoid of genuine early speed. SAKER FALCON (6) lightly raced gelding mixing his distances up. Never comfortable in the heavy (9) going when a plugging fourth over 2000m at Wangaratta . Kept fresh and he finds a very weak Maiden. NOIR VITESSE (5) fitter after the two runs this time in and has a host of gear changes today. Finished third over 1800m at Hawkesbury last campaign. That form looks good enough to see him figure prominently. LORD LIMERICK (10) improving with racing and gives the indication he will relish this trip. Covered plenty of ground in the run when fifth over 1180m at Gundagai. Maps well and can take a hand in the finish. ACANTILADO (1) well supported at his second run back when a struggling fifth over 1400m at Gundagai nine days ago. Maps poorly and has minor claims.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,5,10.
5 04:30 TRACKPIX MAIDEN PLATE 1175m
Lil Orlov, Sparkels Dior and Raiderlicious to match motors but there will be other pressure. HOLD THIS (3) justified the good support on debut ($1.90 fav), when a narrow second over 1175m in the small field at this track. Further improved now and finds a fairly ordinary contest. Goes close. LIL ORLOV (7) kept safe in betting on debut when struggled in the heavy (9) going for a tiring sixth over 1200m at Ballarat. Will relish the claim and capable of better on the firmer surface. ALL CHIPS IN (2) Four-year-old Dundeel gelding from Group 1 winning mare Sunday Joy, on debut for the Craig Widdison yard. Wasn't asked to do much in the two latest jump outs and must be kept safe. AEROFOIL (1) deep into the preparation when improving sharply to finish second over 1200m at Tumut. Drawn out and place claims look best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Hold This can go one better.
6 05:10 TWIN CITY TRUCK CENTRE CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1400m
Plenty of speed from High Country Star and Platinum Executive. Tough contest with plenty of chances. PLEASE ME DO (10) ploughed through the heavy going when a narrow winner over 1300m at Wangaratta with Hannah Le Blanc aboard. Gets some weight relief and will relish the tempo. WATOTO (5) holding his form and due for a change of luck. Went back from the awkward gate and returned solid closing splits when fourth over this journey at Gundagai. Gets a better set-up for this with the blinkers coming off. No surprise to see him return to winning form. GO COMMANDO (7) impressed on debut in the small field when he rounded them up effortlessly over 1175m at this track. Will appreciate the extra ground and gets his chance from the draw. DOUBTFREE (14) unlucky not to have a few more wins on his CV and stretches out to his right distance range today. Strong through the line when third over 1180m at Gundagai. Well placed from the draw and shapes as the value in the race.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 10,5,7,14.
7 05:50 ATURA ALBURY BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1175m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Black Adam. COSMIC ATTRACTION (11) proved too classy on debut when saluting over 1100m at Nowra in fast time. Up to the 1200m on the soft (6) track when disappointed to finish fifth at Nowra. Maps well and can play a leading role in this average contest. DRY FIRE (7) kept fresh, and the blinkers go on after the two solid jump outs. From astute Flemington yard and finds a weak contest. JASKIER (5) gone to a new level this campaign and should be able to get cover from the sticky gate. Speared across from the wide gate when a tough winner over 1300m at Corowa. Don't underestimate. MER CHAR (6) lightly raced gelding who returned from the lengthy break with an encouraging fourth over 1175m at this track. Fitter now and gets his chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 11,7,5,6.
