Genuine tempo with Twilight Tango leading the way. CASINO SHOWGIRL (1) produced a nice effort here on debut beaten 0.9L lengths over this distance. Will have benefited from that experience and fitter is well-placed to go one better. HEAT OF THE NIGHT (4) has had two runs since the switch from a Victorian yard and is building towards her maiden success. Ran a solid race beaten 2.2L over 1350m at Strathalbyn, and will appreciate the step up in trip. She has plenty up her sleeve. GOOCHEE GAL (3) is racing better than the form line suggests. She was back on track beaten 2.2L in the Casino Showgirl race and her close-up effort at Swan Hill three back over a mile reads strongly. BLABBER MOUTH (9) needed the debut outing and no surprise to see her improve quickly up in distance for a leading yard. The gate is awkward, but the 2kg claim assists. Genuine tempo with Eagle Moon and Sir Aali leading the way. ZADOWS LANDING (7) turned in an eye-catching run at Strathalbyn, winding up hard from well back to miss a whisker over 1350m. Raced a well-supported favourite and can go one better up in trip with the blinkers added. EAGLE MOON (1) was on speed and just nudged out in the same race. Has to stretch out over further but is progressing nicely and is sure to give a big sight. OLDPOP (9) has switched yards on an 11-day return. The ear muffs come off as does the tongue tie. Might be looking for this distance now and Holder rides. WINSTON'S PRIDE (11) is a likely improver from a leading stable. Has the rail and Pannell replacing the apprentice is a positive switch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Zadows Landing. |

Nothing to run them along so the pace looks even at best. SHE'S THE RUMOUR (10) resumes and has also switched stables. Found a place at Balaklava in her only fresh run and went close here before the spell. Gets Holder and will be naturally improved. TAHNEE TERRITORY (11) resumes for a new yard and would be a chance if she's on song. Has trialled well and Crowther sticks aboard. No surprise to see her finishing hard. CLASSY CLARET (1) resumes and will come into his own over longer trips. He has his share of ability and may be more forward this time around. This isn't strong, and keep a close eye on the betting moves. TIDDY WIDDY (12) found one much too good here last time, but it was an improved effort following a freshen. She is yet to recapture her strong early form, but will be fitter and is in light with the 3kg claim. Has a wide gate to manage, but keep onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to She's The Rumour. |

Annanda should be able to comfortably find the front. ANNANDA (5) stepped up to the middle distance and broke her maiden at Strathalbyn. Was heavily supported, and she can take the next step for the Stokes yard. FIORA BLUE (8) just missed in the same contest, also up in trip and hits this at peak. Can threaten again with average luck in the run. Tougher sorting the rest. TAKEN ON FAITH (9) was in the market against the above pair but settled back and didn't finish it off. Has a handy 3kg claim today and she would get some of the money purse if she put her best foot forward. DERBY DOWNS (2) should be better for his first run over a middle distance. Maps well and is locally trained. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Annanda. |

Genuine tempo with Papal Wars leading the way. CUT NO ICE (4) resumes here much improved and then came back and found one better over this trip. Fitter again and maps well. Keeps the handy 2kg claim and can go one better. CARING LASS (3) was well beaten in third but improved having her second start since the switch from a Sydney stable. She can race forward from the inside barrier and she can fight out the finish if near best. ASTRODEAN (7) resumed in good order but has been plainer the two since. Might be looking for this trip and he's up to this if on-song. The tongue tie going on for the first time is a key gear addition. LUCAS THE YOUNGER (1) just missed over 1400m at Murray Bridge at big odds making further improvement. A niggle at this distance but on that effort deserves consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Cut No Ice. |

Expecting a strong tempo with Blue Special, Bywaters Road and Kindra Park going forward ahead of Suenami Rose and Agreeance. BLUE SPECIAL (1) was quickly back on track beaten a whisker over a miler at Strathalbyn. Draws the rail again and a 2kg claimer is aboard today. Placed to advantage and he can go one better. GUMERACHA CRACKER (6) was within range in the same contest, running her best race. In good hands and may go on with it now. BYWATERS ROAD (10) just missed twice before a plain effort at Murray Bridge. Has an awkward gate but this suits better and his best figures measure up. Can do a lot better. FLEURIEU FLIPPER (4) got too far back at favourite at The Bridge and may be worth another chance on the 8-day return. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Blue Special. |

Solid tempo with Mateo to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. ARTICULATING (1) raced below his best here last time in stronger but just missed prior in a 62. Milnes sticks aboard and he's well placed in this contest. Likes the course and trip and gets his chance. SHALHAVMUSIK (14) improved again winning this grade when backed off the map. Fitter again and keeps Holder. Just has to hold the form to feature. DODD (11) has an awkward gate but is busting to win and has been kept on the fresh side. Has to be considered as well. TESTA DEXTA (10) was plain two back, but the form around that is solid. Has an inside gate and Pannell sticking aboard is a positive. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Articulating. |
