BABETTE'S FEAST (11) is a two start maiden who showed ability in first campaign. Looks suited by this journey fresh and expected to prove hard to beat. TRAIL RUNNER (1) has also showed some ability in six runs to date, placing at three of them. Likely to be hitting the line strongly. WINTER WEDDING (6) placed two back then beaten a couple of lengths when fourth latest. Rates highly here and expected to take catching. SAVARA'S PRINCESS (4) finished second at Vaal two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1200m at Vaal, finishing 4.5 lengths back in sixth. Extra trip a plus and can atone. |

#YOUCANBETONUS! MR 80 HANDICAP 2000m
Tricky race. ROBERT BROWNING (2) has been going well with wins at two of last three, the latest in a very strong form race. The miss between those wins was here. Rates a top chance on best form but needs to bring it to this circuit. EIGER SANCTION (1) was disappointing here last time as well but the form prior is strong including a win two back at Vaal. Actually has good form this course and distance and gets chance to atone. OLYMPIAN GOLD (7) has been in great form and beat all but Follow The Master last time. Meets him 2kg better and could well turn the tables. FOLLOW THE MASTER (5) is hard to knock though in some superb recent form and despite the extra 2kg is expected to take caching again. |

RACING TODAY MAIDEN PLATE 1800m
COUNCILLOR (10) is a progressive type worth following up. Made debut here with a close-up fifth then went straight to this trip at Vaal and finished runner-up. Further improved and expected to go close. GAVIUS MAXIMUS (3) showed promise in first campaign then resumed over a mile and turned in an eye-catching run when placed. Fitter for the extra ground which looks ideal now. KAVOMOLKA (4) tackled this course and distance last time and gave a sight, finishing in the minors. Will take running down again. NARETOI (1) raced over much further two back then dropped to a mile lattes and hit the frame. Has fitness and the extra trip won't hurt. |

PLAY SOCCER 6, 10 AND 13 MAIDEN PLATE 1800m
The majority stepping put in trip. ANAHITA (8) was a close-up third here on debut then improved second outing to finish runner when out-bobbed on the line. Looks suited by the extra trip and is close to breaking through. FRANGIPANI (2) is another close to getting off the mark. Placed two back over 1700m at Vaal when beaten less than a length then dropped back to 1500m here and went down a nose. Expected to be in the finish again. ONCEINABLUEMOON (6) has three starts in first campaign and best figure was when stretching out in journey. Looks well placed here for return. BLOOD OF EDEN (1) ran fourth in the same race as Frangipani two back then just missed this course and distance latest. Overdue for a win. |

HAZY DAZY (6) has really put it together this campaign notching three wins on end, the latest on the standside track over 2000m as favourite. Looks nicely placed wit the claim again and expected to go close. KISSING MACHINE (4) was a course winner two back then not far away when fourth over a little further here latest. Back a notch and gets chance to atone. FUTURE DATE (3) was an 1800m Vaal winner two back then placed on the Standside track over 2000m latest. Continues to race in great heart and should feature again. AZALEAS FOR ALL (5) ran a better race last start, finishing 2.75 lengths away in fourth over 2000m at Turffontein Standside. Back a grade and with winning rider back aboard looks a genuine hope on best form. |

DRUMNADROCHIT (3) was heavily bet over a mile here on debut and wound up strongly to score. Leading rider stays aboard and looks suited by the extra ground. Can make it back to back wins. MATCHA MINT (5) was a big winner here fresh then was sent our favourite again over the mile and could manage only fourth. Fitter again and did place only other try when third-up. Gets chance to atone. NKWENKWEZI (1) has been in sparkling form winning two on end, the latest over a mile at Vaal. Has good speed and will take running down again. LITTLEMISSSPLENDID (4) was a close-up fifth fresh then below best last time when dropping back to 1400m. Fitter and extra trip a plus. Can bounce back. |

Lots of these looking to bounce back. Not PALACE ATTACK (6) though who has been racing in great form. First look at the mile but progressive type who looks the one to beat. FRERE JACQUES (7) was an easy maiden winner two back then heavily bet latest and ran below here here. Senior rider goes aboard and gets chance to atone. UNSOLVED RIDDLE (5) wasn't far away two back then ran below best latest. Has the inside draw and expected to do much better. OMBUDSMAN (2) has been freshened since racing below par last time. Was a winner the start prior and off a low gate can turn things around. |

CHABAL (1) relished the extra ground last time and ran away with a big win over 2000m at Vaal. Can go on with it now. PEACE TREATY (2) turned in a better effort last time when runner-up in a hot form race. Looks close to a win and worth following up. HAT FURIOUS (9) was placed but no match for Chabal last time. Meets him no better at the weights but looks close to breaking through and has to be included. BOB LEE SWAGGER (8) is much better than the two runs from a break and was a course and distance winner at only try. Gets chance to improve. |
