Will improve and looks well placed. RYUNO COROLLA (1) never really threatened on debut, finishing midfield and beaten 6 lengths over 1000m at this track. Expected to run much better this time. PRESTO PHANTOM (7) wasn't beaten far over 1000m at this track on debut last start and may appreciate the longer journey. Worth including.

TOKEN SHUN (6) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 3 lengths over 1000m at Monbetsu. Shaping up nicely and he is likely to feature in the finish again. DAITA VALKYRIE (1) returns after a spell of 11 weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 800m at Kasamatsu. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Takeshi Hasegawa. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. JUNSHIN KAREN (11) is a progressive three-year-old filly who hasn't raced since finishing third over 1200m at this track on May 8 which was the only run of that prep. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Capable of testing this field. CHEAP IMPACT (10) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects.

WORLD CRISIS (7) was narrowly beaten last start when second in a small field over 1200m at this track. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Among the leading chances. BIREWECKA (3) proved too strong two runs ago at Monbetsu. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1200m at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. RUN WORLD ONE (9) improved last start to finish third over 1200m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Won't need to improve much to take beating. MOCHA BIMBIN (12) was prominent at the turn and finished third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will strip fitter this time. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.

KEIAI INDARA (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 13 lengths into sixth. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. SAINT REGALO (2) ran below expectations last start, finishing seventh and beaten 14 lengths at this track over 1600m. Worth another chance.

VIORNA (7) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when in contention on the corner before winding up in second over 1000m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. AYASAN MERCI (8) turned in a nice run last time to finish second over 1200m at this track. Going up a level this time but she is up to the challenge. RIVER SWEET (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 12 lengths into seventh. Can work into the finish. PROSPERO (4) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 800m at Urawa. Nicely placed to maintain the form.

WARA (7) did a great job to score by 2 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. RICOCHET (6) finished fourth over 1200m at this track when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Second up record is very strong. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. HASENO EXPRESS (3) was last at the races when he finished ninth over 1200m at Ohi on April 30. Has to be respected. JACK ORANGE (1) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 1200m at this track after he gave away a big start. Can break the run of outs.

FURNACE CREEK (2) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1200m at Hanshin, beaten 12 lengths into 16th. Faces an easier assignment so he is one of the main contenders. RHEIN ARTEMIS (11) hit the frame two starts ago at Kawasaki but ran below par last time when 13th and beaten 6 lengths over 1600m at Tokyo. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. YOSHIHIRO (3) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten 0.7 lengths over 1500m at this track. Nice draw here and gets his chance to break through. BEST FANTASY (8) was beaten 11 lengths into 11th in a 1400m contest at Hanshin six-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.

PLATINA BAND (6) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at this track over 1200m, beaten half a length. The testing material. RAINBOW POLARIS (5) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Nicely placed and expected to go well. RINO METEOR (8) returned from a spell three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 8 lengths into 12th over 1200m at this track. Second up record is very strong. Won't find this as tough so he can bounce back. LOVELIEST (2) could only manage to finish eighth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at her latest appearance over 1200m at this track after she gave away a big start. Worth including in this suitable contest.

CHA PRI (8) is a talented type yet to taste defeat after two runs this campaign, the latest over 1600m at this track. Tatsuya Yamaguchi stays aboard and the combination can score again. BELLE CHANSON (3) is returning from a spell of ten weeks. Finished tenth at Tokyo Dirt over 1400m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Takanori Yamanaka. Has ability and should be right in the finish. YAPUSHI (10) returns from a spell of four months and it is noteworthy that he has won at his past two first-up appearances, last prep over 1600m at this track. Winning chance while fresh. GREEN DIAL (4) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.3 lengths adrift in third over 1600m at this track. Change of rider to Norifumi Mikamoto who has six wins when aboard. One of the better hopes.

FERN HILL (14) hit the frame two starts ago at Kyoto Dirt but ran below par last time when 15th and beaten 10 lengths over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt after being prominent at the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. ENTELECHEIA (10) was ridden positively and led throughout to score over 900m at Kawasaki last time. Should be ridden positively again and expected to feature. YOU'RE MY DREAM (5) is racing with great purpose and has two wins on end, most recently getting home by 1.5 lengths over 820m at Sonoda. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One to consider. STRIKE ON (4) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at this track with success over 1200m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run.

BE VIVO (6) gave away a considerable start over 1800m at this track last time before hitting the line well to finish fourth. Will be tough to hold out. VIEW CREST (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in eighth over 1500m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp. GENIE BONITA (2) was never really a threat when resuming last start over 1400m at Urawa, finishing 12 lengths from the winner in eighth. Will make his presence felt. B BLUE (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a seventh over 1500m at this track. Taking on a better line-up this time but she cannot be underestimated.
