MCA POLYTRACK HANDICAP 1400m
Plenty of pace from the outset with Swift Streaker and Memphis Minx leading the charge. DELICATE WARRIOR (4) bumped into a good one to end last campaign over the mile, but showed good promise. His trial coming into this was very solid and the 1400m first-up looks ideal. Ticks plenty of boxes on resumption and can return on a winning note. COME ON EMMA (3) should be nearing peak fitness third-up following a good effort from off the speed at Pinjarra last start. Out to 1400m now but she looks well placed from a handy barrier and it wouldn't surprise to see her get over the top. NICKELPLAY (7) comes back from the mile today after a good effort in what has turned out to be a hot form race. Her form over this trip prior was very solid and with a good gate, she can be in the finish. THE CRIMSON PIRATE (10) showed enough on debut over 1100m when sticking on gamely and he can put his best foot forward. TALKAWAY (8) was too good at Northam last week and can repeat the dose. SUGGESTED PLAY: Delicate Warrior can land the knockout blow. |

TABTOUCH - HAVE YOU GOT THE TOUCH PLATE 1200m
Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a keen tempo. COUNTRY GOD (1) landed midfield first-up at Pinjarra and was too good, winning by 0.5L as the favourite. He turned in a good figure there and he's expected to have come on from that performance. May need some luck from the barrier, but he has good upside and he can repeat the dose. RIVA AQUARAMA (3) settled back in the field before launching a strong attack late, scoring by a head in this grade on debut. The wide draw may see her back in the run yet again, but the slight rise in trip looks fine and she can go on with the job. BRAZEN BUTCHER (2) won two back before being tested in the Karrakatta before a spell. He looks to have come back in good order judging by his recent trial and the inside draw is a big tick. Will take some catching. FREE TO FLY (11) showed positive signs in her latest trial coming into this and can play a role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Country God. |

LAWN PRIDE AUSTRALIA MAIDEN 1650m
Iraychoux to take charge ahead of Sneaky Session at a good tempo. IMPRESSIVE JEWEL (6) was tested in strong races her past couple and wasn't disgraced in the Belmont Oaks last start. This is a much easier event and although she drops in grade, she's highlighted her quality in recent performances. Was close to a maiden win to start this campaign and can get the job done now. SECRET INTENT (7) is on the quick turnaround after a narrow defeat last week at Pinjarra when finishing off strongly. She can land in a handy position from a good gate and the booking of Steve Parnham is a positive sign. The wet track is no issue and she's sure to go close. IRAYCHOUX (5) wasn't beaten far on debut when favourite in the same rave as Secret Intent. Better for that effort and with improvement likely, he won't be far away. CANTILEVER (3) finished off strongly from the back last week and has claims. NOBLE REIGN (2) can bounce back following a disappointing performance last time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Impressive Jewel goes on top. |

GLENROY CHAFF HANDICAP 1000m
Nicely Played is expected to lead at a strong tempo. NICELY PLAYED (10) jumped favourite first-up without a trial at Northam last start and was only caught late in the race. She'll handle the wet going under Parnham and she's struck second-up in the past. Should find the front from an inside barrier and with the added fitness under the belt, she'll be hard to mow down. DESERT DANCING (9) has impressed her past couple, storming home to win at Northam. The wide draw will see her well back in the run, but she's in hot form an continues to improve since heading out west. Looks the main danger. MILITARY POWER (1) disappointed last start but did pull up with an issue on the Bunbury Fibre Sand. Back onto the turn and back to 1000m which looks a good move and he's performed strongly in wet going just two starts back. Shapes as a key player. LOST GRAVITY (6) just missed behind Desert Dancing last start and has to be included off that effort. EMPRESS OF INDIA (4) was too good last time out can go back-to-back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nicely Played can go one better this time. |

MORLEY GROWERS MARKET HANDICAP 1200m
Strong pace from Cross Statement and Hezangelic matching motors with Magic To Exceed close at hand. CLEANEMUP (5) just missed in a photo last start as the race favourite on the Fibre Sand at Bunbury. She'll be fitter again for that effort and the wet track is no problems, having won 2/4 on rain affected tracks. The claim comes in handy and she looks ready to go one better this time around. HEZANGELIC (7) just missed two back but got the job done last start at Kalgoorlie over 1100m. He's now with the Mitch Pateman barn as he returns to the metro circuit, and he has the speed to offset the sticky gate. Racing in top order and he'll be in the finish if he handles the going. CROSS STATEMENT (2) was impressive first-up but couldn't repeat the dose in Saturday company 32 days ago. The form out of that race has been fantastic and the wet track is no issue for him. Needs a touch of luck but he'll be hard to catch if it comes. TROPICCONI (9) trialled well coming in and is not to be discounted in his WA debut. OUTFIELD (8) just missed last start and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cleanemup can get the job done. |

QUAYCLEAN HANDICAP 1200m
Expecting a strong gallop with This'll Show Ya and Tallangatta taking up the running over Zouboltz. DOCTOR JAY (2) returns after a year on the sidelines, but his recent trial suggests he's ready to fire first-up. He worked through the grades well last campaign and has won both first-up attempts. The inside draw is a big tick and he can resume on a winning note. THIS'LL SHOW YA (3) wasn't beaten far in Saturday company last start when sitting close to the speed as a 30-1 pop. She maps for a kind run again this time and she handles wet going. Can put her best foot forward. DREAMTIME JEAN (7) closed off strongly last start and is expected to be flying home once again. CAVALLO RED (4) can resume on a positive note with the wet ground looking to suit. SUGGESTED PLAY: Doctor Jay can return a winner. |

SCHWEPPES HANDICAP 1400m
Solid tempo likely with Buckland, Tactics and Be My Belle prominent. CHOUX SHOE (5) started this campaign on a strong note but disappointed most recently at Northam when on the quick turnaround. Happy to overlook that performance and take her on her prior form which stacks up highly here. CJP replaces the apprentice hoop now and she looks poised to strike. AMAMUS (1) was too good on the Fibre Sand at Bunbury last start when running over the top from midfield to win comfortably. The form has already been franked and he should land in a handy spot from the gate. The wet track is an unknown, but he is trending the right way. THE LUCKY CHIP (9) just missed last start at Northam over this trip in a strong return to form. Now 28 days between runs and back onto a wet deck which looks to suit him better. Can go close again. HOLDOUT (6) hasn't been far away recently and is not to be discounted. BUCKLAND (12) is next best off an improved effort last time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Choux Shoe. |

BISLEY WORKWEAR HANDICAP 1650m
Expecting Worcester to take up the running with Dashing Erika and Henry Has Spoken close at hand. KERVETTE (6) lit up the clock with an impressive display on her stable debut, scoring impressively over 1300m at Northam in this grade. The rise in trip is no issue, though the draw makes things tricky with her racing pattern. Will need some luck, but if her sectionals last start are anything to go by, she'll take beating again. WORCESTER (4) was good first-up as favourite when just missed over 1500m at Pinjarra last week. He hasn't won for a while, but he's constantly around the mark and the fresh effort suggested he's right on the cusp. Can put his best foot forward again. DECISION MAKER (2) won well two back before a 0.5L defeat last start at Northam. This is tougher, but he'll handle the going and he's building nicely. GLANCED (9) can bounce back to form with the rise in trip and an inside gate. DASHING ERIKA (3) has claims off a good last start effort from the front. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kervette looks the one to beat. |

RELIABLE ASSET MAINTENANCE HANDICAP 1200m
Talk To Wyn should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. PETER GUNN (5) is still a maiden, but has impressed in his two career efforts thus far, jumping favourite last start at Pinjarra. He now gets Chris Parnham in the saddle and it wouldn't surprise to see him settle closer in the run this time. Looks to have plenty of upside and can get the job done. PINGERS (11) has gone under narrowly her past couple, beaten a head last start at Northam. The 3kg claim of Catarino comes in handy today and she showed two back that she handles the heavy going. Can go one better this time. DIAMOND DANCER (8) is better than she showed last start and the rise in trip may be what she's looking for. This is an easier race than what she took on last start and with CJP hopping in the saddle, she can get back to winning ways. CHAMPAGNE CATHAY (12) bumped into a sharp one first-up at Northam and can improve on that effort. SHAULA (3) was solid first-up and can improve on that performance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Peter Gunn goes on top in the last. |
