Follow Me Dabble On Tik Tok Handicap 1600m
Looks to be plenty of pace with Star Casino and Yaki Ishi battling for the lead. DESERT MIST (2) just battled in a much tougher field here 11 days ago over 2050m and has a better record over a mile. He was racing well before his last run and is expected to bounce back and be the one to beat in this. YAKI ISHI (1) ran his best race this prep when running on strongly to finish fourth here 11 days ago. He has the pole position here, and with Noel Callow back in the saddle, he can figure in the top 3 this time. MIRACOLI (9) needed his start fresh up when finishing sixth, and generally improves with racing. He has a good gate, and Jarrod Todd sticks with him. Each way value. GRINZINGER BISHOP (3) is backing up quickly from Saturday and will have no fitness concerns after having 3 runs back from a spell. A good draw will help, and with a drop in class, he will be hard to hold out. STAR CASINO (4) was well beaten over 2050m last time out in a far stronger field after winning 2 races on the bounce at Port Augusta before that. Stick with him on an each-way basis here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Grinzinger Bishop at some each-way value here. |

Dabble Copy Bet Handicap 1200m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Kissing Supido. LUNA FIELD (2) has hit his straps since winning his first race here in June, and was runner-up by half a length when chasing a hat-trick on this track in as many starts a fortnight ago. He slides back slightly in grade, and with the aid of a 3kg claim, he is the one to beat again. SUNZOU (3) finished close up in third in the same race as the top pick last start. That was his first local start since making the move from South Australia, and he will be a lot sharper for it. Noel Callow replaces an apprentice, and the pair will be hard to hold out. DUMMY SPIT (5) hails from the visiting Andrew Perdon stable and capped off some consistent placed form with a well-deserved win here 4 days ago. He can repeat the dose. KISSING SUPIDO (1) had no luck at all from a wide gate and tough trip here last time out, 25 days ago. With a kinder trip, he can make amends. Don't risk him. THE GIRL'S BOY (4) ran on late when finishing sixth in the same race as the top pick. He is not out of this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Luna Field should bounce back into the winner's circle here. |

Pick'Em On Dabble Handicap 1100m
Plenty of pace from the outset with Tilussion and Lean On Me leading the charge. FIELD OF PRAISE (6) has been thereabouts since shifting to this area, but has not quite raced up to expectations. She was ridden off the pace here nearly 6 weeks ago and was doing her best work late, finishing sixth. She meets the right sort of field here, and with Jarrod Todd back in the saddle, she can figure in the top 3. LEAN ON ME (1) found all sorts of trouble last start, and that run is best forgotten. He is nearing his peak fitness and can bounce back and have a say in the outcome of this race. TILUSSION (5) had a torrid trip 4 wide here 11 days ago and weakened as expected, finishing well back. Her form before that was good, and from a superior gate, she is worth another chance. SIMPLY JUST (3) has yet to show anything since shifting from Victoria, but has also had no luck with his barrier draws. He cops another wide gate, but with the right run, he is capable of figuring in the finish. Include in all combinations. RIBTICKLER (7) has the winkers back on and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lean On Me certainly deserves another chance. |

Dabble You Better Believe It TROBIS Maiden 1300m
Saxon Beach to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. SAXON BEACH (6) was a consistent gelding when trained in Victoria and has been placed in all 3 local starts for new trainer Philip Cole, finishing third here just over 3 weeks ago. The drop back from a mile to 1300m will do him no harm, and he is overdue for that maiden win. THANK GOD I GOTHIM (3) hails from the travelling Andrew Perdon stable, and has been in the money in all his starts on this track. He cops another good draw and should pick up his first win at short notice. THE ACCELATOR (7) needed his fresh-up run, and then improved to finish fourth here last time out. Ray Vigar steps into the irons, and the pair merits healthy respect. NUNNIONG (2) is a stablemate of the second pick who has yet to fire in 2 starts on this track. Noel Callow picks up the ride, and maybe he can make all the difference where it matters most. Stick with him. NO BRAKES (1) put in a much better effort for fourth here 18 days ago. He cops a wide gate, but can figure in the finish here. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Saxon Beach meets an even field and is getting closer to that first win. |

Dabble Cup 1300m
Bon's Your Back, Galaxy General and Forms Of Fear to take up the running at a strong tempo. STORMFRONT (6) was a beaten favourite here 2 weeks ago over a mile, but did have an issue which could have affected him during the run that day. The drop back to 1300m from a mile will do him no harm, and even from a wide gate, he can take this out. Follow your money. TANNENBURG (4) missed the kick and never got into the same race as the top pick last start. He is much better than that, and he can bounce straight back into the money here. BON'S YOUR BACK (2) was a beaten favourite here 18 days ago when returning to scale with swollen eyes and a sore leg. That was his first time out of the money on this track, and he is well worth another chance, despite copping a wide gate. Stick with him. POMPEII EMPIRE (10) can feature third-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stormfront can bounce back and win this, but it is a very competitive contest. |
