HIYA (7) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten half a length as favourite. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to feature. DI MOLTO (1) is back from a spell of four-and-a-half months. Turned in a fair effort at Kanazawa over 1400m at his only run last prep, finishing fifth. Under the care of new trainer Ureshi Katsunori this prep. One of the genuine hopes in the race. HEYKENS (3) tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1300m at this track. Look for an improved run here. GOD IMPULSE (11) improved last start to finish third over 1300m at this track. Can run top-three again. |

BIX (9) racing well. Saluted at this track two runs ago then sat close to the lead last start and fought on well to finish a close second over 1400m. Sure to feature. GHOST (3) bounced back last start and scored by one length over 1400m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. MONONOFU GREEN (6) scored by half a length over 1400m at this track last start. The engagement of Takuya Okamura is a positive move. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. ARTHUR TESORO (2) last start finished ninth at this track over 1300m. Perfectly placed and can do better. Might be a surprise packet. |

BORNEO (2) finished second two runs back but was less effective last time over 1600m at this track, finishing back in eighth. Ideally placed and can bounce back. BOUQUET OF IRIS (6) hit the frame two starts ago but ran below par last time when sixth over 1400m at this track. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. I'LL BE MAJOR (8) was sixth over 1400m at this track at his latest appearance. Capable of featuring. |

MEISHO GORUSHI (2) scored three in a row at Kanazawa but has been disappointing in two subsequent efforts at this track, the latest when eighth over 1400m. Finds a suitable race can be prominent. |

STROM (6) clung on to finish second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten one length as favourite. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to figure prominently. CURREN MERAMERA (1) was sent out favourite last time and scored by one length at this track. Boasts seven wins here and Seiya Tatara who has scored on her seven times retains the mount. Sure to run well. MINNIE BAROWS (2) has three wins and five minor placings from 10 runs this campaign. Found one better last start at this track over 1300m after being prominent upon straightening. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. REWARD MERLIN (9) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with success over 1400m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Can take this out. |
