4RACING WELCOMES YOU WORK RIDERS MAIDEN PLATE 1450m
FLIGHTLIGHT (2) is better than her last start run for seventh of eight as she was reported to be not striding out. The manner in which she finished off her penultimate run over this course and distance was encouraging. She has scope and from her good draw of three, she may be the one to beat in this field. EMPRESS WU (1) has fair form lines to her name. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in her last outing when fourth has come out and won since. She drops back to 1450m and with a bit of luck from the widest draw she can finish in the money. JINGER JAM (8) was in need of her debut effort over 1200m on this course. She lost three lengths leaving the start and never got into the race, finishing 11th of 14. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade would have gained from the experience and should like the rise to 1450m. BELLA BOOP BOOP (3) has moderate recent form lines. She finished second under Tom Lukhele previously. Can run into the placings. |

RACEHORSE OWNERS ASSOCIATION MAIDEN JUVENILE PLATE 1000m
MISTER WILSON (2) produced a promising debut effort over this course and distance last start. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating. BRIGHT AND BRAZEN (8) ran a fair race on debut over this course and distance last start when finishing fourth of nine. The daughter of Erupt would have come on from the run and is one of the leading contenders. NYAKA NYAKA (3) finished midfield at his debut at Turffontein Standside. Will have benefited from that outing and has definite each-way chance. KING HARALD (1) is a superbly bred two-year-old colt on debut. By Erik The Red from Imperial State who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at the elite level. Expected to go a bold race fresh-up. |

FOR HOSPITALITY BOOKINGS CALL 011 681 1796 MAIDEN PLATE 1450m
KALEESH CYBORG (1) is better than his last two starts would suggest. The son of Global View may not have seen out the 1800m last time. His best career efforts have come over 1400m and if putting his best foot forward should be involved at the finish. CAPE SAFFRON (7) has run two fair races to date. She received a check leaving the start last time and did not go on with the effort. The manner in which she finished off her debut run was eye-catching. The daughter of Flower Alley has plenty of scope and she should be competitive. CHIEFTAIN'S SHIELD (3) raced wide around the turn over 1600m last time, but stayed on well at the finish. Craig Zackey is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. ROYAL MIRACLE (2) ran a fair race over 1500m on this course last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He will strip a much fitter horse and should be finishing in the money. |

RACING240 FOR RACING. FOR YOU MR 66 HANDICAP 1450m
JUNIPER GREEN (1) raced from just off the pace over 1160m at Turffontein last time, but found one too good on the day. She takes a drop in class and jumps from pole position. Gavin Lerena rides and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should give the males a decent run for their money. FAST DUTY (3) was disappointing over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He drops back in class and on best form shown, he should throw out a big challenge to the top selection. PERINI PALACE (7) tried hard when fourth over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. Both her career victories have come on this course. Malesela Katjedi is likely to use her early gate speed to overcome her awkward draw without using up too much energy. Can place. FORCE DE DIEU (2) is better than his last two starts would suggest. The son of Global View has dropped in the ratings and can improve to finish in the money. |

PLAY SOCCER 6, 10 AND 13 MR 80 HANDICAP 1450m
SUTHERLAND (3) was running on when fourth over 1200m on this course last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He takes a drop back in class and will be mowing down the frontrunners from the widest draw. FULLY LOADED (1) challenged strongly when second of nine over 1400m last time. He has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts on this course. He drops back in class and merits healthy respect. JUST VAR (4) won a good race in his last start over 1400m at Turffontein. He won his only attempt on this course. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect. SECRET RECIPE (7) ran on strongly when winning her last start over 1600m on this course. She has won once and finished third once from three starts over this course and distance. Muzi Yeni knows her well and she should give the males a decent run for their money. |

BOOK FOR CLASSIC DAY 1 MARCH MR 72 HANDICAP 2400m
ANOTHER UNIVERSE (3) has produced two good runs since winning his maiden over 2000m. He moved up well in his last start over 2000m, before getting outrun. He does have a wide draw to overcome but he gets the services of Gavin Lerena who will give him all the necessary assistance needed from the saddle. IDEAL FUTURE (1) stayed on well when fourth of nine over 1800m on this course last time. Rates well as an each-way chance. ROMEO'S MAGIC (2) was an easy winner of his last start over this course and distance. He is in a good space and can follow up with another victory. POPLAR PARK (7) followed up her maiden win with a good third-place finish over 2000m on this course. She will be ideally suited to the extra distance on offer and would not be a shock winner. |

WWW.TAB4RACING.COM MIDDLE STAKES 1200m
DANTONFROMSANDTON (1) is much better than his last start run would suggest. He has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. Piere Strydom is booked to ride which is a big plus. From his good draw of four, he may find himself in the winner's enclosure. NIGHT BOMBER (9) won a good race in his stable debut over this course and distance. He raced from a prominent position and found more where it matters most. Ryan Munger retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect. THE AFRICA HOUSE (8) stayed on well when second over 1400m at Turffontein last time. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts on this course. Must be included in all bets. TSAR BOMBA (4) stayed on well when fourth over this course and distance. He gets the blinkers fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. The 5yo gelding is having his peak run today and can feature. |

NEXT VAAL RACEMEETING TUESDAY 25 FEBRUARY FM 76 HANDICAP 1000m
DIVINE MOONLIGHT (4) ran a decent race in her comeback run over this course and distance. She showed signs of needing that outing and will strip a much fitter horse. Ryan Munger steps into the saddle and on best form shown, she can return to winning form. GLOBAL THUNDER (1) is better than her comeback run over this course and distance. She drops in class and would not be a shock winner. VIRGIN RIVER (2) has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. She is back against her own sex and merits obvious inclusion. NEERAH (3) is a winner of her last two starts over this course and distance. Piere Strydom retains the ride and she can bring up the hat-trick. |
