NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:26 CITY OF GREATER GERALDTON MAIDEN 1100m
Moderate pace only with Dixie Princess leading Ginger Jive.  GINGER JIVE (4) ran a better race last start when leading into the home stretch and then weakening late. She has a superior gate this time and with 100 metres less to travel, she may just see it through. She is worth one more chance in a field that lacks any real depth. DIXIE PRINCESS (8) has enough early speed to hold her spot from a good gate and she is worth including in all combinations. ITS A LOVE STORY (2) is resuming from a spell and she should have strengthened up. She has since changed stables and the smaller yard could suit her. The trip is short of her best, but she can't be risked in this mediocre lineup. PRIZED BENEFIT (6) showed some ability when trained in Queensland and that form should hold up in this area. The markets will be your best guide.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Ginger Jive to win.
2 02:09 TABTOUCH MAIDEN 1400m
Without an obvious leader it's likely Blitz could find himself in front.  LIPS DON'T LIE (6) ran on late as favourite last start, finished fourth, and not far from the winner. She is having her third start since moving from South Australia and should be spot-on with her fitness. The key this time is the extra furlong on offer and a win is there for the taking. LE GRAND JEU (1) ran an improved race for third with the winkers on for the first time here 10 days ago. The drop to 1400 metres won't be an issue and he should be right in the finish again. BLATANT DISARRAY (9) finished sixth in the same race as the second pick last time out. She may be able to settle a touch closer to the pace this time from a superior gate and with more upside than most, she is worth including in all combinations. STRUCK BY LUCK (3) has only been run down late in his last couple of starts after leading and as he is still on the up with his fitness, he may see it through this time. Each way.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lips Don't Lie to win.
3 02:44 YANDANOOKA HANDICAP 1400m
Reasonable tempo with Arabian Riches probably leading but a few others should keep him honest.  HAMMARMILL (7) had a run that suited him and finally broke through for his first win on this track last time out 10 days ago. He is up in class but drops 6 kilos in weight and is capable of having the last say again. GALAXY AFFAIR (2) made steady ground at Albany fresh up before finding the company a bit rich at Ascot a fortnight ago. He is perfectly placed third up in this and he has won his only start on the track. Hard to beat. ARABIAN RICHES (3) is an honest local veteran who has been thereabouts in all of his runs here this year. He steps up to 1400 metres and is expected to be right in the finish again. PATCHWORK (4) is racing her way into full fitness and she is normally very competitive on his home track. A wide gate was against her last time out and with a big swing in the draws this time, she can bounce back into the money. Can win.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Patchwork each way.
4 03:25 COALSEAM HANDICAP 1400m
They will run this along with Denzoe taking it up over Butterflyrock. TRADED CROWN (7) is racing his way toward another win and only missed out by a head over a mile here 10 days ago. All of his best form has come over 1400 metres and with the benefit of a good draw, he can go one better this time. BUTTERFLYROCK (1) has exclusively raced here on her home track and is normally about the money. She had a tough run last time out when finishing fifth and with some cover early on this time, she can make an immediate return to the top-three. Each way. MIFF MUFFERED MOOF (3) has been mixing her form since winning 2 in a row here earlier in the year. She can be a hard horse to handle and the engagement of senior hoop Natasha Faithfull is noteworthy. The blinkers are off for the first time and she can't be underestimated. THE COLLECTOR (4) turned his form around in his penultimate run when leading all the way and then had no luck last time out after being trapped wide throughout. He can bounce back quickly with a kinder trip. Stick with him.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Traded Crown to win.
5 04:05 GEOFF MCPHERSON MEMORIAL HANDICAP 1200m
Genuine tempo from Heyfield Boomer leading Raging Beauty.  IMA WILD GIRL (2) appreciated facing country company fresh up at Narrogin and finished second fresh up at Narrogin nearly a fortnight ago. She will be even fitter with that run under her belt and with an extra 100 metres to travel this time, she can get the job done. HEYFIELD BOOMER (1) just battled in a stronger field at Pinjarra-Scarpside last time out after an easy all-of-the-way win at York before that. He might try front-running tactics again and around this circuit, he would be hard to peg back. Stick with him. QUEEN TIFFANY (4) has been beaten by a couple of wide draws lately and she is expected to bounce back from the pole position this time. Each way. STAY ASTERN (3) has only battled in his last couple of starts and is dropping back to 1200 metres. He is capable on his day and if his mind is on the job, he can figure in the finish. Watch for him late.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Ima Wild Girl to win.
6 04:40 AFGRI MINGENEW CUP 1900m
Pace looks genuine from Rockstar Status, Lucky Heart and Northeast Eagle, closely attended by Set The Scene.  BAYHARA (8) has come of age this prep and has won 2 of her last 4 starts, including last time out when she flew home late to get up in the last stride to score by a head. She won't find this much harder and carries 2.5 kilos less this time. An extra 300 metres is ideal and with a handy gate, she is the one to beat again. HONORFIC (2) is normally very competitive on this track and around this distance range. He will find this easier than his last few runs and with the aid of a 2 kilo claim, he should be right in the finish. LUCKY HEART (5) has improved his form since racing in the country and he is likely to take up the early pace here. He is nicely placed at the weights and could be hard to peg back. Include in all combinations. ROCKSTAR STATUS (3) has been working her way through the grades in this campaign and was a tough winner over a mile here nearly 3 weeks ago. She will secure the run of the race from the pole position and another win would be no surprise.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Bayhara to win.
7 05:19 SHORE LEAVE FESTIVAL HANDICAP 1200m
Despite the wide draw Wojtek should cross and set a genuine tempo.  WELL PLAYED (1) has gone from strength to strength since making the move out to the country and she has won 4 of her 7 starts on this track, including 3 on the bounce in March. She tried her heart out when finishing third last time out after making most of the running. A 3-kilo claim will help and with a good run from a handy draw, she will be hard to beat again. FIRST CONTACT (8) ran a better race for fourth in her penultimate run and then franked that form with a last-gasp win by a nose here nearly 3 weeks ago. Her confidence is back and she can win again. SPIRIT MAN (2) was too far back last start and couldn't make an impression. His form before that was heading the right way and if the tempo is genuine in this, he can make his presence felt. He is worth another chance at some value. MAKE MINE SUPER (4) broke through for an overdue win in his penultimate run and as so often happens when the penny drops, he won again last time out. The hat-trick is not beyond him.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Well Played to win.
