NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:20 PBL LAW GROUP F&M MAIDEN HANDICAP 1350m
Kata Kapi should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. OUTCAST GIRL (5) solid return when launched late from off the speed to secure third over 1300m at Hawkesbury on April 18. Strips much fitter now and should get through the conditions. BUBBLES AND CAVIAR (1) relished the heavy (9) conditions from the good draw when a fighting long neck second over 1262m at Taree on April 20. This looks tougher but she has fitness on her side. Capable of testing this field. OVERWATCH (6) beaten for early speed on debut when a plugging eighth over 1250m at Canterbury on April 17. This looks more to her liking over the extra trip. Expected to improve sharply. KATA KAPI (8) only the one placing from 12 starts and expecting more here. Went out hard before tiring late when fifth over 1200m at Gosford on April 25. Gets map favours again and place prospects look best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Outcast Girl to win.
2 12:55 WYONG ROOS FOUNDATION CG&E MAIDEN HANDICAP 1350m
Royalify has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. ROYALIFY (4) no excuses today fourth-up back to the 1350m. Should be able to get control early from the wide gate and prove hard to run down after struggling to see the mile out at Hawkesbury on April 18. BERTIE (6) well bred seven-start maiden who finally showed something when ploughing through the heavy (10) conditions to finish second over this track and trip on May 2. Clearly done well and expected to stalk the speed. Go close. MEERUT (9) much better performance when ridden cold before swooping late to run third over 1200m at Gosford on April 25. Placed this trip and has top-three prospects. FIFTH FORCE (5) even return when ran on late to finish fifth over 1250m at Newcastle on April 24. Extra distance suits and King keeps the ride.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,6,9,5.
3 01:35 SKY RACING SUPER MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
Anticipating a stack of early pressure over the sprint course with many of these lining up for the first time. DUKE OF BRONTE (1) third-up today and a win looks imminent after being nailed late when a narrow second over 1100m at Gosford on April 25. Has fitness on his side and just needs to handle the going to take this out. GLENBOWER (3) Churchill colt resuming. Sound debut at big odds when a close fourth over 1000m at Randwick Kensington on March 8. Since fitted with two searching trials and looks primed for a first up victory. Go close. JELLICIOUS (10) Snitzel filly out of Jellicles on debut for the Ciaron Maher yard. Has looked sharp in both trials and not to be underestimated. SMASHING ROSIE (12) gritty debut from the sticky draw when prominent throughout to finish third over 1000m at Tamworth on April 26. Further improved and trained on the track. Not to be underestimated.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,3,10,12.
4 02:10 MAGIC MILLIONS PROVINCIAL MAIDEN HANDICAP 1600m
Little early pressure expected in a race devoid of an on-pacer. HIMEROS (8) 15-start maiden who gets his chance here in this fairly weak 1600m race. Up in trip with the extra weight when a plugging fourth over 1890m at Newcastle on April 24. This looks his pet trip and placed this course and distance in the past. Go close. NOIR VITESSE (3) best run to date when jumped in trip for a fighting on-pace second over 1500m at Goulburn on April 29. Backs-up quickly and returned good figures at latest. Can go on with the job now. HIGHLAND EIGHTGEE (4) up sharply in trip with the claim when sitting on the speed for a tough second over this trip at Hawkesbury on April 18. Expected to sit on the pace again and should get through the conditions. HUMPTY DOO (5) made up a little ground late second-up when sixth over 1400m at Newcastle two weeks ago. Looking for this trip now and not to be underestimated.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,3,4,5.

Heaven Bound and Professor Pickles to roll forward and set up a solid tempo. HEAVEN BOUND (12) sharp drop in class when getting off the mark at start nine for a tough long neck victory over 1890m at Newcastle on April 24. Ready for this trip now and no reason she cannot win again. VADAMOS QUEEN (2) handy mare who will appreciate the drop in grade today. Battled right to the line when a narrow second over 2000m at Kembla Grange on April 27. Carries the big weights well and no excuses. PROFESSOR PICKLES (8) won two-in-a-row before jumping sharply in grade when a wilting sixth over 1800m at Randwick Kensington in BM78 company on April 25. This much easier and can bounce to form today. Go close. PIPISTRELLE (10) improving filly who steps out to this trip for the first time here. Strong through the line when third over 1500m at Kembla Grange on April 20. Looks to have genuine each way prospects.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 12,2,8,10.

Expected to have matured further over the break and this distance suits. Go close. PINK BAROQUE (5) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months and has a handy fresh record. Back in grade today from the good gate and not asked to do much in two recent trials. Blinkers come off and forward showing expected. Fast tempo assured with Happy Saturday, De Poet and Senshi going at each other early in the piece. DIMAGGIO (1) tough old gelding holding his form well. Stalked the speed as fav from the inside draw when a well deserved neck winner over this track and trip on May 2. Up in weight today but has a massive fitness edge over most of these. PRIMO (11) got off the mark at start four when he ploughed through the heavy (10) conditions with a dominant 1.75 len win over 1400m at Kembla Grange on April 9. Kept fresh and looks to have the upside to go close again. MISSILE SEEKER (7) only the two wins from 13 starts but will find this more to his liking. Trapped off the track and never a chance behind the handy Redbreast over 1400m at Randwick Kensington on April 25. Look for him swooping late. TANNENBURG (2) lightly raced gelding resuming. Showed ability at his first prep when winning at his second start before jumping in grade when 13th over 1200m at Randwick on December 26. Not asked to do much in only trial and gets weight relief with the claim. Genuine contender.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,11,7,2.

The Escape and Boss to apply plenty of early pressure over the sprint journey. THE ESCAPE (3) promising Shalaa gelding who returns from a spell of seven months. Goes well fresh and lone win came on a heavy (10) track last prep. Expected to have strengthened further over the break and two recent trials were full of merit. Since gelded and expected to go close. ROCKIN' MILLIE (10) at her top now and indicated a win was imminent when a fast finishing second over 1000m at Gosford on April 25. Strips fitter and has the speed to take up a position from the sticky draw. NONSHALAANT (9) consistent gelding due for a change of luck. Charged late with the 59kg when third over 1010m at Orange on April 19. Has a good record this track and trip and drops sharply in weight with the claim. Don't dismiss. BOSS (6) returns from a lengthy break after racing in stronger company in town last prep. Gets weight relief with the claim and looked to have plenty up the sleeve when a recent trial winner here over 845m on April 23. Has each way prospects.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,10,9,6.
