Genuine tempo with the speedy Santee Tesoro and Meisho Enishia matching motors. ECORO REGINA (3) finished second over 1200m at Kokura at her most recent appearance on February 25. Yet to win fresh but won only try at the track and trip. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. BOUKEPHALAS (14) missed the placings first up recently but was not too far from the winner when fifth over 1200m at Nakayama. Races well when second-up. Expected to feature in the finish. SANTEE TESORO (8) was safely held when resuming last start over 1200m at Nakayama, finishing 15th and beaten 7 lengths. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. KAFUJI TETRAGON (15) last appeared on February 25 when a good sixth over 1200m at Kokura, beaten 2.75 lengths. Makes plenty of appeal.
