Hot early pace from Future Prince, Sachdev and Promettere going hammer-and-tongs, with a few others keeping them honest. RAPIDASH (8) resumes from a spell which would have done him the world of good. Hi is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw of eight and he will be storming home late. RASCALLION (5) won his last start over 1600m on this course. He has won twice and finished third once from four starts over this course and distance. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect. FUTURE PRINCE (1) has two placings from four runs this prep. Jumping from the inside gate rates well as a definite winning chance. PACAYA (4) should have finished closer to the top choice last time as he was steadied at the 300m mark. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Well worth considering.
