WISHING STAR (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1600m at Hanshin when third, beaten 2 lengths. Aided by the rails draw so she shouldn't be a maiden for long. JAZZ (7) is yet to break through in four runs. Finished fourth at his last appearance over 1600m at Hanshin on April 13. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. BOILER MAKER (15) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Hanshin, beaten 5.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish. FREEDOM REIGN (14) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fifth at Hanshin over 1600m, beaten 4.5 lengths. Don't underestimate.
