Expecting Alps Ojo to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. ALPS OJO (5) turned in a good effort on debut six-and-a-half months ago when 10 lengths away in third at this track over 1600m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Will be better for that race experience and looks well placed to be in the finish again. MEISHO KOROGI (11) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Has race fitness on her side now. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GEMPACHI ETOILE (10) returns after four months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Among the chances while fresh. KIGATA REI (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 6 lengths back in seventh over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Solid top-three prospects.
