MORINO RED STAR (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4 lengths away in sixth over 1600m at Nakayama after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to turn things around. KAITO GUT (11) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 1600m at Nakayama when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.3 lengths. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
