There should be a bit of early pressure with Terraforming and Meiner Schimmer going forward in advance of Marque Page and Photon Blue. TERRAFORMING (5) started at $3.20 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths at Fukushima over 2000m after being prominent at the corner. Best figures measure up nicely. Set to make amends. PHOTON BLUE (10) filled a minor placing when fresh from a spell two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 5 lengths away in fifth over 2000m at Chukyo. Well placed and is among the leading players. NOBLE CRY (3) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only 1.3 lengths, over 2200m at this track. Top-three aspirations. MARQUE PAGE (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on April 28 when beaten 1.3 lengths into fourth at this track over 1800m after being in contention on the corner. Taking on a better field but she is up to the task.
