Strong tempo with Discotheque and Chockablock leading the way. NEWSBEAT (5) was unplaced in five NSW starts and resumes here for new stable. Only beaten 2.5L in an 1100m Super Mdn at Gosford during his previous preparation and wasn't knocked about when 3rd in a recent 840m Doomben barrier trial. No surprise to see him run well in this. HARRY THE HORSE (2) covered ground on debut when unplaced at Gatton then did a good job to run home strongly for second at this track in 1100m Mdn on May 4. Looks a genuine chance again based off that run. SUNCRAFT (15) resumes for first start since February. Has finished in the top-four in five of her past six starts and could represent a value runner. TIME TO LAUNCH (6) has seven placings from eight starts including last-start 3rd behind Saxon Slayer and HARRY THE HORSE after leading. Has to be among the main chances again from good draw. Expect CHOCKABLOCK (10) to press forward and also give a sight after his first-up second this track. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Newsbeat.
