Pressure on from word go with Big Lamy, Koyu Masani Kimi and Knight Alnilam handlebars down ahead of Takeno Raiko and Crown Boss. BIG LAMY (4) did a great job to score by half a length over today's course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Likely to be there at the finish again. KOYU MASANI KIMI (9) started at $8 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth at this track over 1400m after being in the firing line on the turn. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. TAKENO RAIKO (5) went forward last start over 1400m at this track and held on well for second. Has ability and could take some beating here. KNIGHT ALNILAM (7) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a nose over 1300m at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again.
