Plenty of pressure primarily from Oriental Mac, Kokkurisan and Minato Minaito. ORIENTAL MAC (8) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1400m at Mizusawa. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. KOKKURISAN (4) showed good pace and went on to score by 1.5 lengths last time out over 1600m at Mizusawa. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. TAKAMAKI FIVE (11) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over this journey at Mizusawa. One of the main contenders. BORDEAUX DAGUERRE (1) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten 5 lengths. Fitter so watch for a better performance.
