In a race devoid of pace Fille En Or will be prominent. OBON (6) finished fifth on debut then improved last start but found one better over 1500m at Mornington, beaten a neck after being prominent at the corner. Peak fitness now and this is no harder than the races he's been in to date. SHE'S ASTUNNERARCH (9) is the only first-starter in the race and finished towards the tail in her latest trial, but won a Flemington jumpout prior to that and in this race of limited depth she can certainly play a role. COLD AZA BEER (1) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish seventh over 1600m at Ballarat. Drops back in trip here, which might be of assistance. FOXALATION (3) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh at Pakenham over 1200m. Top-three chance. INFER (4) was below his best last time when sixth over 1600m at Seymour, beaten 7 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects. SUGGESTED PLAY: Obon to win.
