Keen tempo with Come Along Jeffrey and Magnardo prominent. MAGNARDO (6) won last start over 1200m at Mornington, making it 8 wins in a row. Been mixing form between the picnics and professionals but winning wherever she goes so she's hard to look past. ALONG CAME JEFFREY (1) was a brilliant winner here last start, the first career win for apprentice jockey Chelsea Thompson. She's ridden another winner since and having access to her 4kg claim looks a big edge. RAVENS BAY (10) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Geelong over 1243m, beaten 0.8 lengths. Cherry-ripe now, drawn ideally and is a winning hope. KAMEZALI (2) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Not as effective last time out when tenth over 1100m at Ballarat, beaten 4.5 lengths, but has the talent to take care of this field. MISS KASEI (9) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Pakenham, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Strips fitter and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Magnardo to win.
