Moderate tempo headed by Scopulus, Cocoli Caledonian and Norinori. SMART RESULT (1) made progress last time out, finishing second at the end of 1700m at Monbetsu. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. SCOPULUS (7) really dug deep to salute by a neck three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at her last two starts. Wataru Hirose who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Should be in the finish. NORINORI (5) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was fourth over 1400m at this track. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish. SENKO FIRST (4) was on a winning run of two races but last time out missed the frame when fifth over 1400m at this track. Can return to the winners' circle.
