Very keen early battle with Litvyak and Getty matching motors and there are a few others that can keep them busy. XCEPTIONAL FELLA (7) trialled well and then delivered his Maiden here on debut and it was an impressive effort given the wide run. He maps well today and will only carry 54kg with the claim. He can take the next step with the extra fitness. SUPER ZIPPI (1) led and won a Canterbury Maiden before the spell. She will be naturally improved and has warmed up with two Warwick Farm trials. She races forward and the 3kg claim brings her right into it. GETTY (3) is good enough and will be sharper second-up. He can use the inside gate and winning rider Billy Owen is reunited. His course/distance record reads well. PICKSIX (5) is third up and is ready to show more. Drops back a level and four back won this track/trip on debut. Collett replaces the 3kg apprentice and that's a push. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Xceptional Fella.
