PIEDS FORTS (5) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1500m at Kawasaki. Will drift back but wind up late. Could be ready to strike. HIRABOKU LAUGH IT (11) is a multiple winner who is yet to miss the frame in five starts. Last appeared when he finished second over 1800m at Ohi on June 13. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Right in this. ALPHA ZEUS (3) draws well for the resuming run. Worth noting that he opened the last campaign with a minor placing at this track over 1600m. Goes well at this trip, recording five minor placings so shapes as one to consider. KAREN TACT (13) ran a nice race last time out over 1600m at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths. Can be about the money.
