Ogaru to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. OGARU (5) has been in the placings in four of five starts so far, finishing third last time over 1200m at this track. Has the hoof on the till and this could be his chance to break through. EIKICHI (1) is a 10-start maiden who wasn't far away last time when second over 1000m at this track. Yamato Ishikawa has registered two minor placings when on board. Aided by the inside draw. Could be hard to stop. MARCO BAROWS (9) was solid enough last start when beaten 5 lengths into sixth in a 1200m contest at this track two weeks ago. On his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. ONITAIJI (7) found the line nicely last start for second over 1200m at this track. Backmarker who gets home hard. Can feature in the finish.
