North Hamanasu to take up the running at a moderate tempo. ROSENMONTAG (9) made it back-to-back wins as she returns to the NAR circuit after trying her hand at the JRA's prior. She was out-classed there, though looks to be a cut above back to this level. She was dominant last start at Mizusawa, and a if she runs up to that level, she'll be hard to beat once again. LILY PINSCHER (10) finished fifth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1600m at this track, beaten only half a length. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ESCARCHA (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in third over 1400m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. NORTH HAMANASU (8) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1600m at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
