LANCELOT (8) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on to finish second over 1200m at this track. Fitter and sure to go well. MEPHISTO (11) started at $5.10 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh at this track over 1200m. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. KITASAN YAMABUKI (3) was doing her best work late last start to get up for second over 1000m at this track. Best form puts her right in this. SHOT BLAST (2) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from three outings this preparation, finishing a neck away in second most recently over 1200m at this track. Right in this.
