A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. FORTUNATE SON (1) jumped an $9.60 chance in tougher company last start and now drops in grade today in what looks a very suitable assignment. He's trialled nicely since his latest run 55 days ago and he's a winner at this trip previously. Purton now hops in the saddle and if he runs up to his recent form, he'll take beating. MIGHTY STEED (4) just missed over this track and trip last time out, beaten 0.3L after sitting close to the speed. His record reads 0/8 here at this trip, but he rates highly off his last start effort and now gets the Winkers on. Maps for a similar run this time and he can return to winning form. LAKESHORE HERO (12) disappointed last start when never getting into the race, but he has shown good signs prior. Winkers go on now and improvement is expected. LUCKY YEAR (8) has looked good at the trials coming into this debut and won't be far away.
