Genuine pace with Mani Hero taking up the running ahead of Bam and Kenroku Charmant. KENROKU CHARMANT (9) got home by a neck last time out over 1400m at this track. Boasts three wins here. Yuma Shibata who has scored on him three times retains the mount. Leading contender. BAM (2) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1400m. Drawn for a good trail just off the pace. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. MANI HERO (6) made progress last start to finish third over 1400m at this track. The engagement of Tatsuya Nakajima is a positive move. Capable of testing his rivals. OCEA FRANKEL (1) has missed the frame at his last couple of outings, the latest when a disappointing 12th over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Easier assignment this time and should do much better.
