GOING: S(7)

THE ADVISER COLLECTIVE MAIDEN PLATE 1350m

Track: SOFT 7     Rail: +3m Entire.

Not seeing a great deal of early speed. PICCADERRO (2) underrated gelding who finds his race today from the low draw. Tough effort with the 60kg from the wide draw when fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Gets a much better run here with the tongue tie going on. Goes close. CITY GOLD FIELD (1) improving with racing and will appreciate this journey and the roomier track. No match for the smart Signor Tortoni when third over 1200m at Gosford. Finds an easier contest fourth up. SIR TUA (10) drifted late in betting at his second race start when a respectable fourth over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Extra trip is in his favour and can finish closer. SWEXAN (4) was run off his feet first up when a plugging third over 1100m at Wyong. Desperate for this trip and further now and look for him late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Piccaderro to get off the mark.
