Has a strong first-up record, scoring on three occasions from three runs. Has ability and should be right in the finish. LADY JAN (5) is back from a break of six months after stringing together two minor placings prior to spelling. Has a solid first-up record. One of the leading chances. APO (4) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Has won five races at this course and distance from 14 tries. One of the major players. SAUVE QUI PEUT (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 0.9 lengths over 1400m at Kawasaki. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
