Sakura Top Zard is the probable leader in the small field. SANEI FLORA (5) launched her career with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 1400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. LADY CHOCOLAT (2) sat on the pace on debut last start and showed some fight to hang on for second over 1000m at Morioka. Promising type with improvement to come so she should be in the finish again. TAKAMAKI EIGHT (7) did his best work late to finish third at his latest appearance at this track over 1400m. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One to consider. MY MAHOJIN (1) was quickly into stride at this course and distance last time and was handy on the corner but couldn't go on in the straight and finished sixth, beaten 12 lengths. Can do much better.
