Solid pace on the cards with Eau De Cologne and All In Vain who like to get rolling early. EAU DE COLOGNE (2) ran below expectations last time at Mildura, finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths starting at $3.90. Prepared to forgive that - his form on synthetic tracks prior reads much better. SHE'S A CON (7) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when ninth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1600m at Pakenham Synthetic. The run two back reads well when behind Ea De Cologne and she should be fighting out the finish. KNEE DEEP (6) settled well back when 6 lengths from the winner in tenth over 2200m at Pakenham Synthetic last start, a less impressive effort than his seventh at Sale the run before. Has the class to take this out. HARD TO GO WRONG (3) is backing up eight days after he was safely held in eighth over 2040m at Seymour against better opposition. Chance on best, look for him late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ea De Cologne to win.
