Solid pace on the cards with Convaaya and Wolfoffitroystreet who like to get rolling early. CONVAAYA (1) is a nine-start maiden who battled fairly way up in grade last time at Flemington, beaten a fair way but in a strong staying test. This looks a nice race having threatened prior and he should take catching. WOLFOFFITROYSTREET (8) was sent out favourite last start but found a couple better over 1600m on turf at Bendigo. First try on synthetic today but the trip is expected to suit ideally third up, go close. SITAR (7) is a 12-start maiden who finished fourth after being in the firing line on the bend at his most recent appearance over 2100m at this track. Rock hard fit and should be thereabouts again. ROCKIN' DEE FOX (6) is just going fairly but has the peaks to challenge if he handles the quick backup. SUGGESTED PLAY: Convaaya to win.
